well upon this project.
the next question is, of course: why would anyone want to shift discussion over
security in general away from the public, and into his own, secretive meetings ?
I leave the answer for everyone to decide for themselves.
What I saw on the defcon slide, is layman-like code quality. Even I (!) could do
a lot better.
This is __ridiculous__.
The Freebsd foundation has money (I heard 1million from the Whatsapp founder ?).
What I think is happening here by this idiotic, demoralising and unconstructive
and conversation-destroying approach of Mr des Smoerebread is the following: we
(the users or others) are being patronised by some members (..) as they believe
it is usus to have the people watched over - if they all do what is "for
the greater good", if they all do what the "governors" think is
meant for us to do. Mr Des seems a typical figure in representing/supporting
secret services so that "his world" is fine. Meaning, the blockage of
discussion and of arguments has only ONE reason: see das Dritte Reich - the
Third Reick. Etc. etc.
I will not continue using freebsd when I have the impression that this is what
is going on. Certainly not.

told "your patch is in the wrong form." There are reasonable and
realistic criticisms that demand reasonable responses. Dag, your response fell
FAR short in the reasonableness test.
