Hello, I am quite new to asterisk (I've been playing with it for just about 2 weeks). I am trying to do music on hold, but I get this error: res_musiconhold.c:309 monmp3thread: Request to schedule in the past?!?! I have read on some forums that usually this message comes when all resources are tied up, but top gives 0%. The server is Intel 2.4 Ghz with 512 MB RAM. Any suggestions? Thank you. Did you install the version of mpg123 that is 59r and not 59q or 59g? This is a problem with version of mpg1223 almost assuredly. Did you install just as the installation says to do? http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+config+musiconhold.conf <http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+config+musiconhold.conf> More stuff.. http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20mpg123%20redhat <http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Asterisk%20mpg123%20redhat>http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-mpg123 <http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-mpg123> Cheers, W ________________________________ From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of CJ Toma Sent: Friday, March 04, 2005 4:08 PM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: [Asterisk-Users] music on hold issue Hello, I am quite new to asterisk (I've been playing with it for just about 2 weeks). Hello, I am configuring an ACD and have created queues, extensions and agents correctly (at least basic functionality is working). I added an mp3 file to the /var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3/ directory and configured it on agents.conf When I user calls and is on the queue, he starts listening to the mp3 file perfectly. But then the music stops, and only continues while the user speaks on the microphone. That is, the music goes on as the user speaks and not continuously. Does anybody have any clue about this? I read something about configuring timing, using a zaptel or usb (i have an usb in my dev't environment), but I don't know if this is related to my problem and couldn't find details on how to do it.... Thank you Dov -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/attachments/20050323/9be94c2b/attachment.htm
