I have delete=yes and attach=yes. But my messages are not getting deleted after they're sent. I'm running asterisk as root so it can't be a permission issue. Any ideas?

I have set it on my box but it didn't work either. I have it set up like this: [mailbox number] => [password],[name],[email],delete=yes -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Brian West Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2004 4:38 PM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion' Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] voicemail.conf Delete=yes is a per box option. bkw> -----Original Message----- > From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users- > bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Duraid Abbas > Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2004 3:14 PM > To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com > Subject: [Asterisk-Users] voicemail.conf > > I have delete=yes and attach=yes. When I specify the user's voicemail can I specify more than one email address to send the recording to once its finished? Also can I set it where it only emails the voicemail recording and not stores it local to the * box? .o-------------------------------------------------------o. That seems like a pretty good way to do it. For the deletion, I think it is something like delete=yes in voicemail.conf. -- Kristian Kielhofner
Is it possible to run a command in the voicemail.conf file to change the 'from' email-address. This way the user who gets the email, can reply on the mail just by clicking 'answer'. I want to do something like this. serveremail='grep "${VM_CIDNUM})" /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf | cut -d, -f3' Greetings Jan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
