Hi all, I've come across some situations before where an IAX call from one site to another would either: a) drop off after 10 seconds or so b) be connected, but no audio was passed through to the receiving end in both these cases adding "notransfer=yes" in iax.conf seems to fix the issue. there's a warning on the Wiki though, that this setting affects CDR and billing information. i've got a couple of questions: 1) what sort of circumstances would require adding the "notransfer=yes" in iax.conf? 2) since i've had no issues with IAX calls (on the same network) when i didn't have this setting, would it be correct to only add it to the appropriate context(s) in iax.conf which you knew were coming from sources outside your network? 3) What sort of CDR/billing information is affected when this setting is used? 4) are SIP channels susceptible to this type of thing, and if so would adding a "canreinvite=no" setting in sip.conf be the same workaround (as mentioned in the iax.conf wiki)? Cheers Flynn
