[Asterisk-Users] rxfax as of 03-16, crash in libtiff-3.5.7-11
Hi, RH9 (2.4.22 #4 SMP) The 10-21-2003 release of softfax had it's problems but didn't crash in libtiff-3.5.7-11. The 03-16-2004 release does. Questions: 1. Does it make sense to upgrade to libtiff-3.6.0? 2. We don't use the latest source in our asterisk build, can it break app_rxfax? 3. Any help is appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- #0 0x40040092 in pthread_mutex_lock () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 #1 0x401724ef in realloc () from /lib/libc.so.6 #2 0x4094361f in _TIFFrealloc (p=0x40929328, s=200000) at ../libtiff/tif_unix.c:188 #3 0x4090f434 in t4_rx_start_page () from /usr/local/lib/libspandsp.so.0 #4 0x40910687 in fast_putbit () from /usr/local/lib/libspandsp.so.0 #5 0x4091a8a1 in v29_rx () from /usr/local/lib/libspandsp.so.0 #6 0x4091415f in fax_rx_process () from /usr/local/lib/libspandsp.so.0 #7 0x409041d9 in rxfax_exec (chan=0x819e8c0, data=0xbc7ff76c) at app_rxfax.c:181 #8 0x080635da in pbx_exec (c=0x819e8c0, app=0x40811a40, data=0xbc7ff76c, newstack=1) at pbx.c:396 #9 0x0806aae1 in pbx_extension_helper (c=0x819e8c0, context=0x819ea18 "webley_fax", exten=0xbc7ff76c "/usr/tmp/nativefax.tif", priority=1, callerid=0x80e03d8 "8478106018", action=135915712) at pbx.c:1157 #10 0x080654ec in ast_pbx_run (c=0x819e8c0) at pbx.c:1641 #11 0x0806b1a1 in pbx_thread (data=0x40040080) at pbx.c:1862 #12 0x4003fae0 in pthread_start_thread () from /lib/libpthread.so.0 (gdb) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- -- Redirecting Zap/27-1 to fax extension [03/16/04 12:41:30.481] DEBUG[426010]: File chan_zap.c, Line 1181 (zt_confmute): zt confmute muted 0 [03/16/04 12:41:30.501] DEBUG[426010]: File channel.c, Line 953 (ast_settimeout): Scheduling timer at 0 sample intervals == Spawn extension (webley_pstn, fax, 0) exited non-zero on 'Zap/27-1' -- Executing Goto("Zap/27-1", "webley_fax|8663222818|1") in new stack -- Goto (webley_fax,8663222818,1) -- Executing RxFAX("Zap/27-1", "/usr/tmp/nativefax.tif") in new stack Changed from phase 0 to 1 Slow carrier up [03/16/04 12:41:30.502] DEBUG[426010]: File chan_zap.c, Line 3332 (zt_exception): Exception on 42, channel 27 [03/16/04 12:41:30.502] DEBUG[426010]: File chan_zap.c, Line 2753 (zt_handle_event): Got event No event(0) on hannel 27 (index 0) [03/16/04 12:41:30.502] DEBUG[426010]: File chan_zap.c, Line 3234 (zt_handle_event): Dunno what to do with eve t 0 on channel 27 Slow carrier down Start receiving document Changed from phase 1 to 4 Sending ident>>> CSI: 40 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20DIS: Preferred octets: 256 Can receive fax Supported data signalling rates: V.27ter and V.29 R8x7.7lines/mm and/or 200x200pels/25.4mm OK 2D coding OK Scan line length: 215mm Recording length: A4 (297mm) Receiver's minimum scan line time: 0ms at 3.85 l/mm: T7.7 = T3.85 R8x15.4lines/mm OK Minimum scan line time for higher resolutions: T15.4 = T7.7>>> DIS: 80 00 ce f0 80 80 01HDLC underflow in state 9 Changed from phase 4 to 3 Slow carrier up <<< TSI: 43 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 TSI without final frame tag Remote fax gave TSI as: "" <<< DCS: 83 00 86 90 80 80 01 DCS with final frame tag In state 9 DCS: Can receive fax Selected data signalling rate: V.29, 9600bps 2D coding OK Scan line length: 215mm Recording length: A4 (297mm) Minimum scan line time: 5ms R8x15.4lines/mm OK Minimum scan line time for higher resolutions: T15.4 = T7.7 Get at 9600 Changed from phase 3 to 5 Fast carrier up Fast carrier down Fast carrier up Fast carrier trained Fast carrier down Changed from phase 5 to 4 0 bad bits in trainability test Start rx document - compression 2 Start rx page ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- rpm -qa | grep tiff libtiff-3.5.7-11 libtiff-devel-3.5.7-11 Thank you.
