[Xen-users] GPLPV 0.9.12-pre13 and SL 5.3 / Centos 5.3
Hello James, I have severe problems with the GPLPV drivers under RHEL 5.2 / RHEL 5.3 and their derivates (CentOS and Scientific Linux). The newer drivers which changed the method for hiding/disabling devices will not work anymore, the QEMU devices will not be disabled. So again the doubled Systemdisk problem hit me, and destroyed the system disk. It looks like the new method will not work with the xen Version of Redhat. Would it be possible to have a compatibility switch for the old version? I have taken care in the drivers to not enable the PV drivers if I cannot be completely sure that the qemu drivers are disabled. Obviously your configuration manages to break this though. Is there anything special about your configuration that might be different to mine? What domU os are you using? How did you know that the QEMU devices are not disabled? Or is it a problem with w2k8 64?> What domU os are you using? Or is it a problem with w2k8 64?Yup, version-specific problem. I reported it to James earlier :D http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2009-02/msg00737.html Win2003 32bit should work fine (I don''t have Win2008 32bit to test).
