[Xen-users] GPL PV Drivers for Windows Release 0.9.6 on Xen 3.0.3?
Should the GPL PV Drivers for Windows Release 0.9.6 work on Xen 3.0.3 and Windows 2003 Standard? I just had a try with no success. In the device manager there were exclamation marks for the old drivers and xm shutdown killed windows immediately, although I installed the monitor service and added /gplpv boot.ini. Did I something wrong? How can I uninstall GPL PV? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

If it is then it assumes that PV drivers are running and will signal the DomU to shutdown in an orderly fashion. If nothing is listening then it assumes that there are no PV drivers will perform a ''destroy'' (eg immediate shutdown) instead. So if XenPCI isn''t running, you won''t get the immediate shutdown.
