Your best chance (without a HUGE effort) is to use HVM mode (requires AMD-V/Intel VT processor). Alternatively, you may be able to use Xen 2.0.x, as that has support for 2.4.x kernels, I believe. -- Mats> > Satya > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users > > >_______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Yes, we''ve done it. The simplest way is to use HVM, and then convert it to paravirt with Xen''s RHEL3 kernel and glibc. - -Karl satyaakam goswami wrote:> Hi, > Anyone tried installing Paravirt Install of RHEL 3.0 as DomU ? > > Satya > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@lists.xensource.com > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGApnhr6qWhNgoahURAnhpAJ0UgGBOks69czzIkFW9cpB28e7VbQCgivdh 74bYW0l+ioMY1awV5B83l+A=z1L7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- __ This communication is intended for the use of the recipient to whom it is addressed, and may contain confidential, personal, and or privileged information. Are you in a rush?Yes sort of with respect to X86_64 bit VM . The commercial version of Xen i tested only runs the 32 bit RHEL 3 as VM using P2V method.
