I''m on a Dell 2850 and had the same problem. When I make the kernel I have to de-select ''megaraid'' and select the ''megaraid2'' driver. I got errors like the ones you show when I had both drivers selected. Also, If you are using RAID on your disks, this server requires that you boot using an initrd image.
