[Xen-users] Raid6 Core Dump on FC2 with Xen 2.0.5 Kernel 2.6.10
Hi everyone, Xen is doing a very good job on my Machine. I´ve started trying some new features like RAID6 and so and got following error on trying creating a RAID6 with 5 Devices. Can someone help me out ?The RAID6 driver tries to directly use some privileged instructions that a 2.0 guest is not allowed to execute - that''s why you''re getting a General Protection fault. This was discussed before - there''s some suggestions in this mail from Keir: http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2005-05/msg00154.html Summary: should work in -unstable already, will work in 3.0, could be fixed for 2.0 if someone is willing to cook up a patch. Configuration also worked fine with LVM Root. On changing one Produktion Server to Xen VMs i encounterd another usefull way of Xenusage as a side effect ... Honeypot Started with a missconfiguration, ... got a Trojan, it soon pointed out to be a very usefull by tracking criminal subjects by using Xen and sudosh as a honeypot.
