[Xen-devel] has stable-2.6.32.x rolled back to 2.6.32.18???
This wiki page - http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenParavirtOps - says that the kernel to use with 4.0.1 is 2.6.32.19: " pvops kernel git branches that require new IOAPIC setup hypercall from Xen hypervisor 3.4.3 or 4.0.0 or newer to run as dom0: * xen/stable-2.6.32.x - this is the long term maintained branch, based on the kernel.org long term maintained Linux 2.6.32.x. This is the default branch for Xen 4.0.1. Currently it''s at 2.6.32.19. Changelog: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/jeremy/xen.git;a=shortlog;h=xe n/stable-2.6.32.x " When I look at the changelog URL it says that 2.6.32.18 is the latest, and when I check it out using the instructions on the wiki page I also get 2.6.32.18 not .19. On another server that I checked out sometime in the last few weeks, it has 2.6.32.19 on branch stable-2.6.32.x. When I now git pull on that server it tells me I''m ahead by ~110 commits. Has something changed in the tree somewhere that has rolled back stable-2.6.32.x? (specifically the new stack guard page broke the toolstack''s use of mlock.) The 2.6.32.21-rc contains the fixes for that breakage so I guess we can roll forwards again when that is released.
