What features are lost or gained by running 3.4.3 as apposed to 4.0.0? Lastly is 3.4.3 considered to be more stable as 4.0.0 is still relativity in development? Xenpaging/memshr (which are frankly not in shape for production use in 4.0.0). Transcendent memory (another memory sharing technology). There will be a bunch of other bits and bobs too.> Lastly is 3.4.3 considered to be more stable as 4.0.0 is still relativity in > development?Yes! -- Keir _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

RE: [Xen-devel] New release candidiate for Xen 3.4.3
Virsh compiled against Libvirt 0.7.1-15 (0.7.0 - Ubuntu 9.10 Server) ( Xen Api 3.0.0(1)) fails to create domain when Xen is 4.0 and still works with 3.4.3. I keep in mind OSOL PV DomUs creating per John Levon, what might be in meantime absolutely unimportant :( However, virt-install & virt-manager works with Xen 4.0 Dom0 on top of F12, Ubuntu 9.10 Server . Just one exception HVM DomU may be create only via virt-install and managed afterwards via virt-manager. I believe it''s well known issue.
