Yes, our automated test system seems to be having similar problems. I¹ll revert to use old ioemu by default for now. Perhaps it¹s best to make the ioemu switch after 4.0 after all. -- Keir On 4/8/08 20:31, "Phil Winterfield (winterfi)" <winterfi@cisco.com> wrote:> After applying the patch for the libx problem in the stubdom/Makefile over the > weekend, I am still getting build errors as seen below. Re: [Xen-devel] Build Problems w/ latest xen-unstable.hg
Well, I changed my mind again. Our automated tests pick up a different qemu tree (a private staging tree) and that is currently failing to clone. But I can clone the public xenbits git repository myself no problem. For now, if it¹s causing you problems you can manually specify to build the old ioemu tree (which is contained within the xen-unstable repository) by adding CONFIG_QEMU=ioemu to your make command line. -- Keir On 4/8/08 20:55, "Keir Fraser" <keir.fraser@eu.citrix.com> wrote:> Yes, our automated test system seems to be having similar problems. Another question: when did xen start using ftp as part of the build process? E.g. now I am seeing: make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/xen-unstable.hg/extras/mini-os'' touch mk-headers wget -c ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/newlib/newlib-1.16.0.tar.gz --16:48:40-- ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/newlib/newlib-1.16.0.tar.gz => `newlib-1.16.0.tar.gz'' Resolving sources.redhat.com... 209.132.176.174 This is a real pain for those of us with boxes behind lab firewalls that only support http proxy and not ftp. ________________________________ From: Keir Fraser [mailto:keir.fraser@eu.citrix.com] Sent: Monday, August 04, 2008 12:55 PM To: Phil Winterfield (winterfi); xen-devel@lists.xensource.com Subject: Re: [Xen-devel] Build Problems w/ latest xen-unstable.hg Yes, our automated test system seems to be having similar problems.
