My dom0 is debian sarge with kernel 2.6.16.29 running on a 32bit P4 i386 make tools dies in compiling vnc.c with: /sources/BUILD/xen-3.0.3_0-src/tools/ioemu/vnc.c:1069: warning: unused variable `now'' make[4]: *** [vnc.o] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/sources/BUILD/xen- 3.0.3_0-src/tools/ioemu/i386-dm'' Does anyone know what''s wrong here? Are there some vnc pre-requisite packages I should have installed? To answer my own question, the solution is to have the X11 dev libraries installed. I just built a basic debian sarge install with no X11, and so this is why this error cropped up. The solution is to: apt-get install xlibs-dev which should do it. Perhaps xlibs-dev should be listed as one of the pre-requisites ?
