I''ve finally uploaded 2.0.6 debs to debian unstable. They will hit the mirror network today. There is one patch I had to do; I''ll send that later. tools/Makefile wasn''t building tools/sv. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
Do you have any plans to put together some some 2.0-testing, or 3.0 debs? I think last time I looked your 2.0.5 patch applied almost cleanly to 2.0-testing. Was also thinking of redoing the kernel patch stuff. Instead of a package build producing a kernel-patch(thereby requiring kernel-source to exist in debian), I''d produce a kernel-patch builder. Basically, it''d package up the sparse tree, then ship that, along with whatever scripts are nescessary to produce a patch(or subsequently modify a pristine kernel tree). This way, when xen upstream ports to a new kernel version, I don''t have to wait for the version to appear in debian. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
I just went to have a look on packages.debian.org, and all the links to kernel-patch-xen (all the ones I could find anyway) refer to the 1.2 version. I had to go directly to the ftp site to get kernel-patch-xen 2.0.6. All the other packages downloaded fine. Also, even if I build a kernel with the --initrd option, I still don''t get an initrd when I install it. Can you give me a hint as to where I''d file a bug against the web site? thanks James> -----Original Message----- > From: Adam Heath [mailto:doogie@brainfood.com] > Sent: Friday, 29 July 2005 10:36 > To: James Harper > Cc: xen-devel@lists.xensource.com > Subject: RE: [Xen-devel] xen 2.0.6 debs > > On Fri, 29 Jul 2005, James Harper wrote: > > > I just went to have a look on packages.debian.org, and all the linksto> > kernel-patch-xen (all the ones I could find anyway) refer to the 1.2 > > version. File a bug on kernel-package. _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
