Hello, I have got a little problem testing my MONIKA-Software in Wine. I acually use Wine 1.2 under Ubuntu 10.04. There erverything works fine so far. But now I got a request if my software will also run under Wine 1.0 (wine-1.0-3.1.i586, Suse 11 or 10). As far as I know it is not possible to install the old Wine 1.0 under Ubuntu 10.04. If there is a way, please let me know :) Otherwise, is there anyone who has Wine 1.0 and could make a short test for me? A Demo-Version of my programm MONIKA can be found at: http://www.monika.ag/Demo/MONIKA-Demo_V2-70_en.zip And a loadable project file can be found here: http://www.monika.ag/Solutions/EUREF-Weekly/EUREF-1598-1603.monsav In my opinion, this will test the most critical dialog functions: 1. Open the project file 2. A dialog will appear, select "No" 3. Go to "Automatications"->"autom. Deformation Analysis" -> Button "New" and then -> Button "OK" If there is any information missing, please let me know.
There's no version 1.0 available for me. Thanks for your offer. But as I wrote in my first post the requestet wine version is 1.0-3.1. If you like you can make a test with your oldes version available, which should be 1.1.10. Coming from Windows I am new to Linux and Wine. But as far as I searched this page, my software MONIKA should probably also run with wine 1.0. Except from loading addional DLLs and thread handling, there is nothing special in my software. Would you agree with me in this point because of your experience? Or is there any stumbling block in Wine 1.0 which could cause problems?

You have asked how you can build/test Wine 1.0 and this is explained on the Git Wine Wiki Page. You can go back to some of the early 0.9 versions, if you wish from the git archive. James McKenzie
