wine users - Oct 2009 - Is there any Beta Wine Packages for Ubuntu 9.10

I'm a beta tester for Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala and I was wondering if you
have a beta package of wine for 9.10? If not is there any alternatives to get
the package installed before I make a move in putting it on the OS?

Why don't you compile Wine yourself? Howto is available on wiki.

As much as I love compiling code it would be great for some superstar to create
a pre packaged wine repo for Karmic.

9.10 is released in a few weeks, is a new wine repo in plan already?
