Trying to install Java JRE, but getting this error:

Some dialogue box flashes by very quickly, but too fast to read.

I did try and run this as 'root' (I know your not supposed to do that,
cleared .wine after I did) and it loaded just fine.  So I'm thinking between
that success and the 'ACCESS_VIOLATION', some permission problem is
preventing the load.

Any Suggestions?

It installs fine for me in 1.1.7. Try upgrading and installing to a clean
wineprefix.
