[Wine]Cant Run windows Exe with wine-20041201-1rh9winehq.i386.rpm
Dear Friends, I have Installed Red Hat 9.0 on PII, 128 MB, 10 GB. First I Tried installing wine-20041201-1rh9winehq.i386.rpm and Running a windows exe using wine "<exe name>" i got following error. /usr/bin/wineserver: relocation error: /usr/bin/wineserver: symbol epoll_create, version GLIBC_2.3.2 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference Then I tried to Install older wine rpm on that with rpm --install --force wine-20041019-1rh9winehq.i386.rpm Then Once again I tried to run same exe still I get Same error. Can somebody help me in this situation ? Thanks & Best Regards. R. S. Patil

I think you should build Wine from source code. That way it will certainly match the libraries and kernel on your system. To me this looks like some sort of a mismatch.
