It would nice to have something like "par(mfrow=c(1,2))" for basic plots, or an array framework for wireframe(lattice) (see example below). I only managed to overlap two persp3d plots. I have looked through the documentation and have not been able to find a way of using an xlim, ylim, or zlim type option on rgl.surface.
