strange strsplit gsub problem 0 is this a bug or a string length limitation?
I was working with the rmetrics portfolioBacktesting function and dug into the code to try to find why my formula with 113 items, i.e. A1 thru A113, was being truncated and I only get 85 items, not 113. Is it due to a string length limitation in R or is it a bug in the strsplit or gsub functions, or in my string? I'd very much appreciate any suggestions ============Input script:

minor tick marks for plots (PR#13616)
Hello, I think I found a bug: > windows(1,width = 10, height = 10, pointsize = 5,xpos = 0, ypos = 0 ) > hdata[1:3,1] <- c(1,10,15) > hdata[1:3,2] <- c(2,1,4) > plot(hdata[,1],hdata[,2],xaxt="n") > axis(1,at=c(2,10,14)) > minor.tick(nx=2, ny=1,tick.ratio=1) the minor tick marks appear between the tick marks which would have been drawn without the option

0.99.10.x auth memory leak?
Hello, running 0.99.10.6 (but seen it before that, too). Also (quite obviously) running 5 auth processes, given the fact that this is a pretty busy box and I didn't want to introduce any artificial bottlenecks. Alas with them eating up half of the free memory (which would go to a much better use as FS cache) I'm getting sorta concerned. If it's not a leak, it's caching something

Install locks up my server
Ever since 2.26 I haven't been able to upgrade. In fact the install locks up my server. I get into and infinite recursive loop where the config-guess program calls itself until the server locks up from overload. I'm running Centos 6 under OpenVZ. What am I missing? I think there's a serious bug. 31233 pts/3 S 0:00 /bin/sh ./config.guess 31235 pts/3 S 0:00 \_

I set up the samba on linux box. 2. connected two windows 98SE machines 3. All machines connect to router 198.168.0.1, and use DHCP 4. I set up a public directory on Linux box 5. I can browse with

Stars! kills X-Server
While playing Stars! wine sometimes kills the X-Server. This happend infrequently in all Versions of wine I tried, but this time I managed to generate a bugreport. I use wine with managed windows, this seems to be the most stable setting for Stars. To start wine I used wine -debugmsg +relay -language De_DE -- stars\!.exe -s -m >& ~/`date +winedebug_%Y%m%d.txt` | wolfgang@erwin:~>
