Interface to open source Reporting tools
Hi,
I am a new user of R 2.8.1. I use Tinn-R for code editing. I use a windows
2003 system with 1 GB RAM.
I am interested to generate dashboard and reports based on data from MS
Access. These reports need to be posted on a weekly basis to the web. The
reporting interface should provide facilities for "what if" scenarios.
Is it possible to interface R analysis results to good open

help needed with printing multiple arguments as vectors, not matrices
**
I am using the following way to get p-values from fiser exact test.
However, I do need to print for each pair the values "n00, n01, n10, n11".
How can I print that as a table and not a matrix as below along with the
p-value? Any help will be greatly appreciated
fish <- function(y, x) {n00 = sum((1-x)*(1-y)); n01 = sum((1-x)*y);
n10 = sum(x*(1-y)); n11 = sum(x*y); a =

simplifying code
Dear All,
I was wondering if you could help me with the following:
I have the code:
tin <-0.5
tau <-24
output0 <-10
TIMELOW <-tin
TIMEHIGH <-1*tau
TIME1 <-c(seq(TIMELOW,TIMEHIGH, by = sign(TIMEHIGH-TIMELOW)*(tau-tin)/3))
then I would like to calculate:
cp1 <-output0*exp(-0.3*TIME1[1])
cp2 <-output0*exp(-0.3*TIME1[2])
cp3 <-output0*exp(-0.3*TIME1[3])
cp4

re tail case-pack ordering problem - can R help?
I'm a programmer, not a mathmatician. I heard about R, and I'm wondering if
anyone can tell me if there is an existing R function that can help with a
problem we're currently trying to find an algorithm for. If R is not the
answer, but you can recommend a known algorithm, that would help a lot!

SIP and NAT problems "imagine that :) "
Hi all,
Seriously, I've tried to read everything I could find (& search for) on
voip-info.org and other sites about this problem, but have been unsuccesful.
Equipment:
xten lite
X100P
Whitebox linux running Asterisk / AMP
D-Link DI-804HV (VPN router)
I have installed another DI-804HV at a second location and created a tunnel.
For the computers behind that unit, everything works fine

large memory usage on rebalance
Hello all,
I had gluster volume distributed over 7 machines with a single brick each.
After adding two more bricks I started the rebalance command, but the memory usage of the glusterfs process handling this ate up all the available memory on the machine I started the rebalance on.
I tried again on another peer with more memory and here it also ate up 60 GB and showed no sign of getting

Extending RAIDZ.
Yeah:)
I''d like to work on this. Here are my first observations:
- We need to call vdev_op_asize method with additonal ''offset'' argument,
- We need to move data to new disk starting from the very begining, so
we can''t reuse scrub/resilver code which does tree-walk through the
data.
Below you can see how I imagine to extend RAIDZ. Here is the legend:

Trouble with parametric bootstrap
Hi,
I'm having trouble understanding how to construct a random number generator
for a parametric bootstrap. My aim is to bootstrap a Likelihood Ratio
statistic (under the null) for a linear model. The function at this point
is given by
boot.test.n01 <- function(data, indeces, maxit=20) {
y1 <- fit1+se(e2)*rnorm(314)
mod1 <- glm(y1 ~ X1-1, maxit=maxit)
y2 <-

Developing functions
Without trying to understand your code in detail let me just
assume you are trying to create a matrix, ret, whose i,j-th
entry is some function, f, of row i of X and row j of X.
In that case this should do it:
apply(X,1,function(x)apply(X,1,function(y)f(x,y)))

(gang?)block layout question, and how to decipher ZDB output?
Hello, all
I''m "playing" with ZDB again on another test system,
the rpool being uncompressed with 512-byte sectors.
Here''s some output that puzzles me (questions follow):

NUT doesn't work with Eaton 9PX with Network-MS - "Unknown UPS"
Hi,
I'm trying to setup a Raspberry Pi to monitor our UPSes, and gracefully
shutdown our servers, as per this guide:

Problem with GeekSquad GS-1500 (Cyberpower 1500 avr lcd)
Hi,
I've installed Nut 2.0.5 on a RedHat 9 box.
I have a GeekSquad 1500 UPS. (GeekSquad is a BestBuy brand) I've found out
that
it's actually a CyberPower 1500 AVR LCD.
I'm using it with the serial cable.
I'm unable to get it working with any of the drivers provided with NUT.
I've tried cpsups, cyberpower and powerpanel.
here's the output of the different drivers

World of Warcraft Problem
My problem started when i upgraded my Video Card from an Nvidia geforce 9500gt to a geforce 210. With the 9500gt i could run all day long with the texture resolution on High and no problems. With the Geforce 210 with Texture Resolution set on anything but low on certain camera angles I will lose the NPC's but turn the camera angle they will come back and move again they will disappear again.

[PATCH 00/12] Bunch of patches for cross-compilatio + RP4
Initially out there as #965245.
I strongly prefer to build ARM64 packages on non-ARM systems. Something
about my main build machine having twice the cores and twice the clock
speed. As such after many builds I've managed to generate a set of
patches which appear to mostly function to get functioning cross-builds
of Xen.
These are NOT a 100% solution. Some packaging hacks were needed. In
