Hi,
I am getting accumulated data from PostgreSQL, ie for every day in
which a condition is true I get the number (count) of cases. Starting
date is 2008-01-01 and end day the last day for which the condition
is true (which is not necessarily today).
I obviously do not get records (dates) with count = 0, in other words
this is not a complete list of every day since 2008-01-01.
Now I want I plot

RODBC, IODBC and Mac OS X
Dear All,
As some of you in the archive, i am experiencing problems in using
RODBC with IODBC on Mac OS X Panther.
I am currrently facing two problems.
The first one is apparently linked with IODBC (according to returned R
error message) although testing the database access from IODBC manager
seems to work fine.
The second is by far more radical, R purely and simply reports an error

There is no file.write(). I have tried fileEncoding = "utf8" and
"latin1" in write.csv(). However, it does not have effect. The output is
is <U+00C5>land or <c5>land.

IODBC instead of UNIXODBC
Hello.
It's possible to use IODBC instead UNIXODBC with realtime?
As I see, the res Makefile load a odbcinst.h file, but
in IODBC there's not this file.
I change the res Makefile (iodbcinst.h instead odbcinst.h)
and the make create the res_odbc.so.
But when asterisk boot it don't start showing:
[res_odbc.so]Oct 4 10:24:43 WARNING[9748]: loader.c:314 __load_resource:

PostgreSQL under Snow Leopard
Hi,
I have nicely used RdbiPgSQL under 10.5 but now that I run 10.6
I can't get this to work.
I am quite sure I will not be the first to have this problem, so
can someone please point me somewhere where this has been described
or let me have a cookbook?

smbldap-useradd will not add sambaSamAccount objectClass
I'm having an issue adding a sambaSamAccount objectClass to my machine
accounts when running smbldap-useradd -w "machine$"
It doesn't create samba attributes, but will create the account.
In the smbldaap-useradd code, sambaSamAccount is sambaSAMAccount, but I
don't know if that's what's doing it. the samba.schema file has
sambaSamAccount defined.

Question on port forwarding
Hey folks... I'm still working on that automount/nfs/ssh combination.
When you use "-L port:host:hostport" to forward a port on the localhost
to a port on a remote host,
A) What is the origin that the remote system sees for the packets? Is
it "port" on localhost, or the source of the messages sent to "port"?
B) How connected is this? Can you send a UDP

Help request: Parsing docx files for key words and appending to a spreadsheet
Thanks - I'll have a look at these options too.
I'm happy to send over a sample document, but wasn't aware if
attachments are allowed. The documents come Lexis+, so require user
credentials to log in, but I could upload the file somewhere if that
would help? Any ideas for a good location to do so?

This is helpful.
From the article, which is typical of Lexis+ output, I want to extract
the following fields and append to a Calc/ Excel spreadsheet. Given the
volume of articles I have to work through, if this

Samba shares becoming inactive after a while
When a user is not using a samba share, after a while they become
"inactive". When a user wants to access the share again, it takes an
irritating long time before they get access again. The (windows)
application that does the accessing is not responding during that
time. There are no drive letters assigned to the shares in a logon
script. When I do assign a drive letter to the share (in

shared libraries on FreeBSD 4.*
I've used R for a couple of years on FreeBSD with few problems. Recently,
a couple of the contributed packages seem to have difficulty finding
symbols in the shared libraries. Currently, I'm running R 1.3.1 on FreeBSD
4.4. I've tried setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to /usr/local/lib
and some other things. The packages I've had trouble with are:
Matrix 0.3.15
RODBC 0.8.3
