different ACF results
Dear all, I have one Model (M3) fitted using the lme package, and I have checked the correlation structure of within-group errors using plot(ACF (M3,maxLag=10),alpha=0.05) But now I am not sure how to interpret this plot for the empirical autocorrelation function. The problem is that I am used to see/interpret diagrams in which all the autocorrelation Lags, except lag-1, are inside the

how to join these two models?
Dear R users, I have this 2 models that fit to my data: M3varI <- update (M3, weights=varIdent(form= ~ 1|SITE)) M3AR1<-update(M3,correlation=corAR1()) The first one, updates my M3 so that I can account for the variance structure of random erros. The second one, updates my M3 so that I can account for the correlation structure of random errors. How can I put them toghether in one

Winbind WAS working (even though it was picking the wrong domain) I re-ran smbpasswd -j LMC -r <our PDC> -U administrator I get prompted for the password, enter it and I am told that I joined the LMC

digium HW echocancellation - fax tone detection
Hello ! I 'm using a TE405P with a HW echocanceller module attached on it. dahdi version is dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.0.2+2.2.0. As far as I know, the fax tone detection is done on the FW board. How can I verify that the echo canceller has been turned off ? When I do a cat /proc/dahdi/1 for span 1 I see still the VPM450 entry near the channel although this was a fax call with CED tone.

Is it possible to do Ripley's K and L functions analysis with R?
Dear friends, I am studying the spatial distribution of trees in a tropical swamp forest in Brazil, and the spatial association between the trees and other forest and non forest elements. These are point pattern analysis of mapped data, preferentially done with the L function of Ripley. I have recently discovererd the R-project and would like to know whether it is possible to do these

SAMBA 3.3.7 - (SMBntcreateX) NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
I just compiled Samba 3.3.7 on Ubuntu 8.04. I copied the new libnss_winbind.so.2 library under /lib and the ?getent group? command works fine. The ?net use? of the resource is OK. I?m verifying the problem (SMBntcreateX) NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED reported in the log.smbd file when I try to create a folder or to move a file in the samba resource. The same operation on Samba 3.2.14 is OK. Regards,
