"winbind use default domain" doesn't work on samba 3.0.0
Hi, On my 2 Debian boxes the option "winbind use default domain = yes" doesn't make any difference any more where as it dit work just before the rest works fine, but not this option in smb.conf. I've discussed the matter on the French Samba mailing-list and I seem not to be the only one who's got this problem. The other person uses winbind with ADS, where as i'm

winbind / nss_winbind with Solaris with large amout of uses/groups
hi all ! I have compiled Samba 2.2.2 for Solaris 7 ( Solaris 8 also ) but found out that the "nss_winbind" support is available in source-code, but not after compilation. The neccessary entries in the Makefile after "configre" are missing !! Why ? I have got it to run and it works fine with a small amout of groups. But deploying this samba/winbind version to a Windows

ntlm_auth / winbind problem
Hello all, I'm sorry if my question doesn't match to this list but I don't know where I can find an answer. To resume my situation, I'm using samba and more particularly ntlm_auth to ask an active directory database from my radius server. I arrived to authenticate a user yesterday but I can't today and I find it's due to the ntlm_auth . I try only the ntlm_auth commands

fisher.test() gives wrong confidence interval (PR#4019)
The problem occurs when the sample odds ratio is Inf, such as in the following example. Given the fact that both upper bounds of the two 95% confidence intervals are Inf, I would have expected that the two lower bounds be equal, but they aren't. x <- matrix(c(9,4,0,2),2,2) x # [,1] [,2] #[1,] 9 0 #[2,] 4 2 rbind("two.sided.95CI"=fisher.test(x)$conf.int,

Is there a way to update a method on an existing Reference Class object?
Hi Being able to do object oriented programming in R is really good. I now started using the Reference Classes and really like it. Though, I have one problem: I cannot find a way to update a method on an existing object. The flexibility that scripting gives (really needed for interactive data analysis) is lost if everything have to be recalculated all the time. For example I would normally

Further questions
Hi R folks, In my previous post I forgot to mention that I was new to R. I was really grateful for your quick help. I have two further questions: 1) In the graph of a regression line I would like to show one specific residual yi obs - yi pred (let's take the person whose residual is 76). How do I add a bracket to this vertical distance and name it? I'am getting stuck after the

No, it is in production, i just change the real domain name by DCTEST for confidentiality. *Avahi is not installed in our server (print server is in an other server) *resolv.conf is good. * I read the documentation here https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_a_Samba_Active_Directory_Domain_Controller [1] , and i can't find where it is said to modify the nsswitch.conf in a server which is
