RFE: allow zfs to interpret ''.'' as da datatset?
Hi,
I''d like to be able to utter cmdlines such as
$ zfs set readonly=on .
$ zfs snapshot . at now
with ''.'' interpreted to mean the dataset corresponding to
the current working directory.
This would shorten what I find to be a very common operaration -
that of discovering your current (working directory) dataset
and performing some operation on it. I usally do this

how to interpret coefficients from multiclass svm using libsvm (for multiclass R-SVM)
Hello all,
I'm working with the svm (libsvm) implementation from library(e1071).
Currently I'm trying to extend recursive feature elimination (R-SMV) to
work with multiclass classification.
My problem is that if I run svm for a 3 class problem I get a 2-D vector
back from
model$coefs, can someone explain me what this values are? I understand them
in the 2-class problem

[Bridge] Dead loop on virtual device - how to interpret it ?
Dear List,
i am not so familiar with the deep art of
network internals more with the basics one.
Therefore i have a problem to interpret this
error message:
Dead loop on virtual device br0, fix it urgently!
In the corresponding kernel code i found this quote:

does dovecot interpret any mail headers specially with maildir?
Hi.
For mbox,
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/mbox#Dovecot.27s_Metadata lists a
numer of mail headers:
- X-IMAPbase
- X-IMAP
- X-UID
- Status
- X-Status
- X-Keywords
- Content-Length
that are treated specially by dovecot.
It also suggests, that these should be stripped by the LDA (I guess in
order that someone sending you such mail cannot set the status or
keywords, or even "attack

quantmod getOptionChain Interpret List Label As Date
Hi R Helpers,
Is it possible to interpret the top level of the list as a date after downloading all the option chain data for a ticker?
For example, after I run
aapl_total<-getOptionChain("AAPL", NULL)
the top descriptor of the lists is a date (Mar.09.2018, Mar.23.2018, etc.).
So if want to subset down to those parts of the list that correspond to say, (expiration)

[LLVMdev] Does lli know how to interpret arithmetic overflow intrinsics?
I understand that overflow behaviours can be different on different
hardware. But can we write .ll implementation of these overflow intrinsics,
e.g. assuming 0..255 as value range for unsigned i8 ?

how to interpret nouveau feature matrix
I have a GeForce G 105M. That's, I guess, an NV50 family video card:
https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/CodeNames/#NV50
My question is... does Nouveau support HDMI with this video card?
According to https://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/FeatureMatrix/ TVout is
"TODO" and HDMI audio is "DONE". What about HDMI video? Is that grouped
under TVout or is TVout supposed to be

how to interpret the results of a simint call
Hi all,
I've done some anovas, found some significance and proceeded to do the
post hoc tests to determine the source of the significance. I used the
multcmp package as suggested by Andy Liaw (thank you).
I am, however, unsure how to interpret the results of the call to
simint. Could someone help me with this?
I've attached the code and the results it produced. There are 3 groups

Interpret impulse response functions from irf in MSBVAR library
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone knows how to interpret the values returned by irf
function in the MSBVAR library. Some of the literature I have read indicates
that impulse responses in the dependent variables are often based on a 1
unit change in the independent variable, but other sources suggest that they
are based on a a change of 1 standard deviation. Any ideas which irf uses to
compute the

How can I interpret this test hypothesis test
Hello wizards,
First of all, I'm a physicist and therefore I'm not much used to use
statistics. So, please forgive me if this is a FAQ or stupid, but I
failed to find the answer by myself.
I have used "runs.test" (Package tseries) for computes the runs test
