Bug in gap.plot
Hi, all
I am trying to make a plot with a axis break and I want the whole plot
to be line, not points. However, when I execute the following command
half of the graph is points and the other lines.
gap.plot(Xdata, Ydata,gap=c(5,6),gap.axis="x",type="l")
I think it might be a bug in plotrix. I would greatly appreciate your

Installing R packages in Textmate
To Whom It May Concern:
I need to use various packages in R and I also want to use Textmate.

Are there any packages that can process images other than pixelmap (i.e. pnm)?
Hi, all,
I am having trouble getting R to take pnm images via mogrify
i.e.
mogrify -resize 320x217 -format pnm *.png
However R via pixmap says that it can't read the file. If you have
any ideas like a package that can read jpeg files, etc., I would
appreciate it.

Are there any guis out there, which will allow editing of the graph?
Hi, all,
I would like to know if there is any gui interface out there
(academic or commercial) that allows one to edit R-language generated
graphs (e.g positioning x axis labels.) It would be nice to have
something like the user interface of Igor or Origin. I have already
used JGR and R-gui. These are good, but they don't allow one to
easily edit graphs. I have also tried

Bind together two vectors of different length...
Dear everyone,
I've got difficulties in realizing the following
task:
I have two vectors:
A <- c(1:10)
B<- seq(1,10,2)
Now I want to make a table form vectors A and B as rows, and if a value of A
isn't present B, then I want to put a N/A symbol in it:
Output should look like this:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
1 0 3 0 5 0 7 0 9 0
How can I do this in R?

NIS or not?

Histogram binning
I am trying to produce frequencies in defined intervals however I can't seem
to figure out how to get R to bin my data the way I want it to.
I have several thousand lengths of fish that I want to be binned as follows:
Ex.
Length Bin
209 200
219 210
431 430
727 720
That is, bins with any length equal to or greater than the lower

p-val issue for ranked two-group test
Hi-
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with my code. I'm coming up dry
when I try to get a p-value from the following code. If I make a
histogram of my resampled distribution, I find the difference between
by groups to be significant. I've ranked the data since I have
outliers in one of my groups.

16 KHz clip-off?
Hello,
congratulations to the Ogg Vorbis team - RC2 sounds good.
But... RC2 in 128 kbps mode seems to clip off all frequencys
beyond 16 KHz. On the tracks I tested Beta 4 gave response
even beyond 18 KHz.
Some testings on a randomly chosen track:
(other tracks gave similar results)
Artist: Judas Priest
Album: Jugulator
Title: Bullet Train
Beta4: 127 kbps, ~ 18 KHz (!)
RC2: 132 kbps (!), ~ 16

CPU Usage with R 2.1.0 in Windows
Hi,
I'm using a fairly simple HP Compaq desktop PC running Windows 2K. When
running a large process in R, the process "RGUI.exe" will never exceed 50%
of the CPU usage.
The program used to be able to use more of the computer, but does not now.
I don't believe this is a multiple processor machine.
Can anyone give any advice on how to solve the problem?

Boxplot problem
