No, that's not at all what I said.
Matching identical outputs to FP tests makes no sense because there's
*always* an error bar.
The output of O0, O1, O2,

reliability of R-Forge?
How reliable is R-Forge? http://r-forge.r-project.org/
It is down now (for me). Reporting "R-Forge Could Not Connect to Database: "
I have just started to use it for a project. It has been down for
several hours (at least) on different occasions over the last couple
of days. Is that common? Will it be more stable soon?
Apologies if this is not an appropriate question for R-help.

Object are not destroy while using error (Rf_error)
Dear all,
I try to understand why on my computer I do not clear all data with this
code:
#include <R.h>
static int count = 0;
class A {
public:
A(){ printf("c %d\n", count);
count++; }
~A(){count--;
printf("d %d\n", count); }

problem in for loop
Hi all.
I was having some trouble with a for loop and I found the problem is the
following.
Does anyone have some idea why I got the following R result? Since mone
is equal to 3, why
mu1 only have 2 components?

problem installing quadprog
When I try to build/install the quadprog package under R1.50 and NT4
it seems to have trouble finding blas routines. I'm currently using the
generic blas routines, rather than ATLAS or some other tuned implementation:

MySql Versus R
Dear R Users,
I use for my data crunching a combination of MySQL and GNU R. I have
to handle huge/ middle seized data which is stored in a MySql
database, R executes a SQL command to fetch the data and does the
plotting with the build in R plotting functions.
The (low level) calculations like summing, dividing, grouping, sorting
etc. can be done either with the sql command on the MySQL side or

unloading compiled code.
I have a package that I'm developing that I need to unload the
library. Long story short I figured out that the leaving the compiled
code loaded lead to a segmentation fault, but unloading the code will
fix it. I've read the documentation and it appears that there are
several ways to do this? What is the popper accepted current standard
for unloading compiled code?
The options as I

na.action does not return na.action element of lm object
I'm not sure if this is the official behavior but I would expect the
na.action function applied to a lm object to return the na.action.
Here is what I mean.

Warning message:
In x + rnorm(10) :

Convert "RDX" and "RDB" to ASCII format?
Dear R users and experts,
I need to modify an exisiting R function from a package. The function/
variable is inside a namespace and I have problems accessing it.
I only need to get access to to corresponding sourcecode. I localised
the "RDX" and "RDB" files. But it seems to be a binary format.
How can I convert it to an ASCII format to open and extract the code
from a text

Description depends line for windows only
I am developing a package that is only applicable on windows, is there a
line I can put in the depends field of the DESCRIPTION file to tell that
this should only be build for windows?
Are there any other protocols that I should follow?
Thanks,
