XML getNodeSet syntax for PUBMED XML export
I am looking for the syntax to capture XML tags marked with /DescriptorName MajorTopicYN="Y"/ , but the combination of the internal space (between "Name" and "Major" and the embedded quote marks are defeating me. I can get all the "DescriptorName" tags, but these include both MajroTopicYN = "Y" and "N" variants. Any suggestions?

Getting Picasa to view files in OSX
Hi all, I have installed Picasa on OSX 10.4 but I cannot navigate to the folders I store my photos in to get it to monitor them. Any ideas how I do this? Apologies if this isn't the right way to post or if it's not an appropriate topic - I have only delved into Wine because I really want to use Picasa instead of iPhoto. Many thanks, Sean Send instant messages to your online friends

Error en nlm(logdgenexpn, p = c(vmomest[[1]], vmomest[[2]]), x = x.genexp, : valor no finito provisto por 'nlm'
Dear useRs, I am analysing the behaviour of MLE for the two parameters of a kind of exponential distribution, leaving as initial values the estimators moments produced by the variation coefficient. I do using simulations, giving them an accountant, r. But running my codes remains a problem with the nlm function. To review details wearing On one of the lines put status

Applying a loop with rnorm() to eliminate duplicate coordinates in a dataframe object
Dear colleagues I found duplicate coordinates trying to convert a dataframe object (see the attached file) into a geodata one ('geoR' package is needed). My dataframe object consists of 2 columns with UTM geographical coordinates and a 3rd column with fish densities . To overcome the handicap I must add a tiny value generated by rnorm() to each geographical coordinate. And it must be in

Asterisk 13 queue and DND phones
Hi, I've noticed that when I set a phone on DND (phone-side DND, meaning it rejects calls with a busy status, SIP 486 response code I believe) the queue keeps on trying the phone over and over again. This creates issues in terms of CDR entries - in a scenario where there is only one phone on DND, and a delay between attempts of 1 second, the queue will attempt to ring the single phone

Issues on hibernated domains
Hello. I am using libvirt and KVM for a VDI project. It works fine, great job ! I have only a small issue that bothers some users from time to time. This is libvirt-bin 2.5.0-3ubuntu5.5. When restoring a saved domain that has been many hours or days down, the network address may be taken by some other virtual machine. Then both are in conflict. I found this patch:

shorewall suddenly dropping all from outside
Hi List, I read this list for nearly two years and learnt a lot, but now i have a very strange problem I can''t solve.. I have a firewall machine running Debian, which connects a small office to the internet via a DSL-line (with pppoe) and which is running Shorewall. It allows all outbound traffic and accepts pptp, openvpn and ssh-connections (on a non-standard port) from the internet.

just don''t ''get'' "has one" and "belongs to one"
Well, I understand what they do and how, I just don''t get why! It seems to me that any time you would have this relationship between two tables...they should be one table! Agile Rails book gives what seems to me to be a lame example for this. They use the example of an "invoice" and an "order". An invoice belongs to an order and an order has one invoice. Seems
