Unit root
I am confused by obtaining different results when testing for unit root when using different packages. I have 2625 price entries for which I want to determine whether they exhibit unit root. First I test using adf.test from tseries package by running: > adf.test(P, k=30) Augmented Dickey-Fuller Test data: P Dickey-Fuller = -4.685, Lag order = 30, p-value = 0.01 alternative hypothesis:

ask for help on nonlinear fitting
I have a table like the following. I want to fit Cm to Vm like this: Cm ~ Cl+Q1*b1*38.67*exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867))^2+Q2*b2*38.67*exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867))^2 I use nls, with start=list(Q1=2e-3, b1=1, Vp1=-25, Q2=3e-3, b2=1, Vp2=200). But I always get 'singlular gradient' error like this. But in SigmaPlot I can get the result. How

[LLVMdev] Performance degradation when repeatedly exchanging JITted functions
Hi all, for a research project we need to repeatedly exchange functions in a program running in the JIT compiler. We currently do this by calling recompileAndRelinkFunction(), after changing the body of the function. Of course we synchronize enough to ensure that the JIT doesn't concurrently compile the function (which should only happen if lazy compilation is enabled). Now
