Installing Package rgl - Compilation Fails
I'm running R 2.4.1 (with the latest versions of all packages) on an
FC6 32-bit system. When I try to install the rgl package, compilation
fails:
> install.packages("rgl")

summing elements in a list of functions
Dear all,
I have looked for an answer for a couple of days, but can't come with any
solution.
I have a set of functions, say:
> t0 <- function(x) {1}
> t1 <- function(x) {x}
> t2 <- function(x) {x^2}
> t3 <- function(x) {x^3}
I would like to find a way to add up the previous 4 functions and obtain a new
function:
> rrr <- function(x) {1+x+x^2+x^3}

Error install rgl package on linux
Dear all,
I tried to install rgl package on my linux machine fc5, I got an error.
Here I run R as user,
$ R
> options(repos=c(CRAN="http://cran.at.r-project.org/"))

Building RGL for R-2.3 for Tiger 10.4.6 on PPC
Hi,
I just installed R-2.3 for Tiger 10.4.6 on a PPC. However, though i
successfully installed RGL on R.2.2, this time it doesn't compile.
I get this error when trying the R INSTALL command

recompile R using ActiveTcl
Dear all,
While running some code requiring the "tcltk" package I have realised that my
version of R was compiled with the Tcl/Tk libraries included in Fedora 6. It
would be for me better to use the ActiveTcl libraries (which I have
under /usr/local), and I'm aware that this probably means to recompile R with
the proper configuration variables.
But...is it by any chance

Patch for rgl with gcc 4.0 in R 2.3.0 on OS X
Hi,
I recently had a problem installing the rgl package on OS X and put together
a simple patch. The patched package is available here:
http://jinome.stanford.edu/files/rgl_0.66-patched_for_gcc4.tar.gz
It can be installed with "R CMD INSTALL rgl_0.66-patched_for_gcc4.tar.gz" as
normal at the command line.
Also -- as of right now rgl is not in the repository of version 2.3 packages

[LLVMdev] Building Boost library failed with Clang 2.9
I tried building boost 1.45 release with clang 2.9 following instructions

RBGL not compiling on Debian Lenny with c++ (Debian 4.3.1-2) 4.3.1
I've just installed Debian Lenny and RBGL fails compilation with the
following errors (sessionInfo() follows).

3.9 regression with legacy static assert macros (bad type resolution)
3.9.0 and current release_39 (r90413) have issues with older static assertion macros like this one from an older libunwind:

cuda cross compiling issue for target aarch64-linux-androideabi
