question about the dataset fgl
Dear sir or ma'am, I have a question about the dataset "fgl." The dataset seems to be in the "VR" package, so I tried to download it from CRAN. However, after downloading, when I tried to load the package, it was not in my package list. I am wondering what is wrong. Any advice on how to access the fgl dataset would be appreciated. Thanks. CRAN Mirror definition error.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has run across this problem in the past and might be able to suggest a solution. I did a review of the FAQ's link trying to find a topic that closely related to the experience I was having, however I didn't see anything that might help in diagnosing the problem. While invoking the options under the "package" menu I get the following errors:

LLVM Backend for a platform with no (normal) stack
Dear Sir or Ma'am; I have found a wealth of help and information on writing an LLVM backend. And, my platform has no stack. Can you point me to any information that would specifically address creating a backend for this kind of platform? In previous wanderings, I thought I ran across a phrase "platforms with no stack such as FPGAs", but I can't find that mention, now.

Some people asked me lately about how professional Dovecot is.
I purely love that kind of crap. As if presentations meant anything, as if there aren't all kinds of scholarly work about theoretical perfect world algorithms and conceptual systems that will never be implemented and are as practical and effective as wings on a pig. Please. I'm reminded of the story about how, during the American Civil War, when the North had finally, after years of

help regarding r-project
I do not think anyone is going to be able to help you unless you can provide a reproducible example with a clear account of what it dies and what you expected it to do. Modified Band Depth
Dear Ma'am/Sir, This is Joy Mae C. Gabion taking up Masters of Science in Statistics at Mindanao State University ? Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), Philippines. I?m currently working on my master?s thesis and chose to base it on the paper of Sun et.al (2012) which discussed the exact fast computation of band depth for large functional datasets. There are codes in Mathlab available

very slow imap opens in pine after moving maildirs to new drive
Hi, I've been running dovecot-0.99.10 for the past several years, with virtually no problems. Lately, I noticed that the filesystem holding my users' imap maildirs was getting close to full. So... last night, I used tar to copy /var/spool/imap to a new drive (9G scsi, reiserfs) that I then mounted under /var/spool/imap (after moving the old dir aside). After the move, what would take

MCMC Estimation for Four Parametric Logistic (4PL) Item Response Model
I know of no existing functions for estimating the parameters of this model using MCMC or MML. Many years ago, I wrote code to estimate this model using marginal maximum likelihood. I wrote this based on the using nlminb and gauss-hermite quadrature points from statmod. I could not find that code to share with you, but I do have code for estimating the 3PL in this way and you could modify the
