Dear all Off topic to some extent but Ted Harding has just called me to say he is (a) seeing large delays in the list messages when it is sent internally from hypatia.math.ethz.ch. I get only a delay of an hour which is reasonable in the scrap below but Ted reports delays of the order 24 hours, (b) messages he has sent to the list don't appear on it for a long time.
