New HOWTO Proposal: How to Configure Centralized Authentication on CentOS 6.0
http://wiki.centos.org/AdrianHall/CentralizedLDAPAuth
I would suggest it goes into the HOWTO section.

Home Page Editing
If someone can enable my Wiki account (AdrianHall) to allow me to edit my
home page, I will put drafts in wiki format of the two documents I have
proposed (yesterday and today), plus the "How to relay postfix through
GMail" Tips&Tricks article I am in process of verifying - k-thx-bai.

I find that the CentOS Wiki's to be useful, however, sometimes
incomplete. I would like to contribute where I can to complete Wiki
articles so that the end result is the expected result.
I have been in contact with Adrian Hall author of this article

Markup for commands
Hi,
I just edited http://wiki.centos.org/de/TipsAndTricks/BecomingRoot and
formatted all the commands in section 1.1 as `monospace`. Since the main
font and the monospace font look quite similar, it is sometimes
difficult to see where one ends and the other starts.
Therefore I propose to add the following CSS rule to the whole CentOS wiki:
#page tt.backtick {
background-color: #eee;

becoming root
Hi List,
I've just drafted a FAQ/mini-HOWTO on becoming root as this is a topic I
see come up time and time again.
Perhaps someone with a reasonable understanding could check it for
technical correctness, and if anyone would like to offer comments/feedback??
Any suggestions as to where might be an appropriate home for this on the
Wiki?
Regards,
Ned

Problems with building an rpm
I followed the setup instructions from
http://www.owlriver.com/tips/non-root/ (link from the Centos wiki). All
this is done on another 'clean' system, so I have to read the terminal
screen there and tell what went wrong here.
I then followed my colleague's instructions to get the tar, untar,
autogen, configure, and finally make rpm.
Well it was that make rpm command that finally

VNC Questions
Fresh install of CentOS 5.4 (and my first experience with CentOS).
Following install, the first thing I did was enable desktop sharing
so that I can control this new 1U box from my Mac workstation.
The VNC client sees this as "Warren's remote desktop" but I'd like it
to be more meaningful, as I have other remote desktops. Where in the
user settings/prefs do I change the way

Access to Wiki Pages
Hi all,
It would be great if you could grant me access to some wiki pages. Starting
off with my personal one: ;)
http://wiki.centos.org/MarcusMoeller
Also I want to start translating some parts into German, so it would be
great if you could create a:
http://wiki.centos.org/de/TipsAndTricks
and grant me access to this page and all sub-pages.
Best Regards
Marcus
