Posix warning : Access to ... is crossing device
I have a distributed/replicated setup with Glusterfs 3.0.2, that I'm testing on 4 servers, each with access to /mnt/gluster (which consists of all directories /mnt/data01 - data24) on each server. I'm using configs I built from volgen, but every time I access a file (via an 'ls -l') for the first time, I get all of these messages in my logs on each server: [2010-05-04 10:50:30] W

Puppet 3.2.0-0.1rc2.el6 SSL problem
I am having an issue adding new clients to puppet. The master is not accepting connections from unauthenticated clients, even though my auth.conf that worked with v3.1.1 has not changed. If I test ssl via curl -k, the puppet master returns "can''t convert nil into String" to the client. The http log on the master shows a 400 return code. Also note, I''m using

[PATCH/RFC OSSTEST] Debian PV netboot guest test
I''ve been working on this on the odd occasion, I think it mostly works, or it did last I tried which was a while back. I''m sure it is too hacky in places. My plan was to clean it up on the next test day. I''m mostly just sending this for Wei''s benefit since he is independently looking at adding Debian HVM guest tests for OVMF purposes. Ian. commit

Changing only file permissions
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Normally, I would say that --checksum is actually slower than just letting rsync re-copy everything and therefore is almost always the wrong thing to do. However, in this case, you really don't want to overwrite the running OS even with files that are essentially the same. So, if the system is running from that storage then --checksum might
