Is Pacemaker integration ready to go?
I have seen many references online to being able to use OCFS2 with Pacemaker, but the documentation I have been able to find is very Sparse. I have kernel 2.6.29, and the latest DLM and Pacemaker (using openais) and OCFS2-Tools from GIT. (As of June 13). I was able to build ocfs2_controld.pcmk ... (With some minor changes to the makefile for my install) I noticed the OCF version of o2cb is not

ocfs2_controld binary
I have been reading loads of threads over different mailing lists about ocfs2_controld, so have anyone ever built Cluster stack (openAIS, pacemaker, corosync + OCFS2 1.4) from source and got o2cb agent working with pacemaker? Got this from messages: /var/log/messages:Aug 14 15:05:20 ip-172-16-2-12 o2cb(resO2CB:0)[4239]: ERROR: Setup problem: couldn't find command:

ocfs2 1.4 and openais
Howdy! I have ocfs2 set up on a cluster running pacemaker and openais. When setting up ocfs2 using service o2cb configure, do I need to specify a different cluster stack besides o2cb? Problem with CLVM (really openais)
I'm desparately looking for more ideas on how to debug what's going on with our CLVM cluster. Background: 4 node "cluster"-- machines are Dell blades with Dell M6220/M6348 switches. Sole purpose of Cluster Suite tools is to use CLVM against an iSCSI storage array. Machines are running CentOS 5.8 with the Xen kernels. These blades host various VMs for a project. The iSCSI

EC2 elastic IP failover
Hello, I have two EC2 instances and I would like to setup some sort of failover strategy for them. They currently act as load balancers, forwarding layer 7 traffic using haproxy and stunnel to other EC2 instances. One of these load balancers currently has an elastic IP assigned with an A record pointing to it. What I'm trying to achieve is to remap this elastic IP in the eventuality of an

DomU freezes after migration
Hi everybody, I''m facing a strange issue with my current setup. I''ve got a working Xen 3.4.3 / DRBD 8.3.7 cluster which runs fine and is very stable. I''m using for both Dom0 and DomU''s a xen patched kernel 2.6.32.13 (tried also with 2.6.32.25 and latest gentoo ported patchset) Since I don''t need automatic failover or load balancing of guests,

A conceptual question - a special samba-soluion in a cluster
Hi SambaGurus!! I have a question regarding samba+winbind in a cluster - but it is a bit tricky - any pointers would be very much appreciated: Got a two-node cluster, using pacemaker/corosync/openais/whatever, with a resource-group which includes an IP and a shared disk, which is only active on one node at the time (failover, no ocfs2, as I don't have that much faith in it - sorry). I have

5.5->5.6 upgrade hiccough
I spoke a bit too soon about the upgrade being flawless. It turns out that one subsystem started failing after the upgrade, although it is not an out-of-the-box one. I've included the description here in case someone runs into something similarly weird (especially with scripts calling MySQL?) and because although I have a work-around, I'm not sure (but can guess) as to the actual cause

Choose Ldap authentification, Ldap-Properties fill in your Ldap-Server = and Search-Base. Copy the files from the old server to the new with rsync. Stop samba/ldap on the old server Start ldap start samba on the new. And you are running. In my case I moved my samba from an old sidux to viruell centos5.5 on windows 2008 Server. =20 ----------------------------------------------- EDV Daniel

Porting ZFS, trouble with nvpair
Hi. I thought I''d take a stab at the first steps of porting ZFS to Darwin. I realize there are rumors that Apple is already doing this, but my contact at Apple has yet to get back to me to verify this. In the meantime, I wanted to see how hard it would be. I started with libzfs, and promptly ran into issues with libnvpair. It wants sys/nvpair.h, but I can''t find that in the

Configuring Xen + DRBD + Corosync + Pacemaker
Hi everyone, I need some help to setup my configuration failover system. My goal is to have a redundance system using Xen + DRBD + Corosync + Pacemaker On Xen I will have one virtual machine. When this computer has network down, I will do a Live migration to the second computer. The first configuration I will need is a crossover cable, won''t I? It is really necessary? Ok, I did it. eth0
