:domain => "domain.net"
}
config.action_mailer.raise_delivery_errors = true

ActionMailer EOFError (sometimes)
I''m having problems sending emails sometimes using ActionMailer. Looks
like some emails are never sent because something breaks when sending
it. It is a small quantity but can''t even have one drop. Browsing
through the list I saw that one person had the same error as I did but
in his case he couldn''t send any emails and in the end he needed no
authentication at all.

Action Mailer contact form
I am trying to use Rails and the Action mailer to create a simple contact
form on a website. I am using a table-less model to validate the form
contents, then trying to use the Action Mailer chapter of the "Agile Web Development
with Rails" book as a pattern to develop the send e-mail portion. I am
having trouble getting it working and was hoping someone could point me in the

ActionMailer getaddrinfo: Name or service not known..
When I deploy my rails 2.2.2 app to bluehost, I''m having trouble with
the ActionMailer SMTP settings.
When I attempt to send emails through Rails/SMTP, I get the following
error message:
getaddrinfo: Name or service not known
google says that this means there''s an error negotiating with the mail
server.
Here are the settings I''m using for SMTP delivery:

ActionMailer cannot use SMTP for email delivery...
RoR aficionados,
I''ve configured ActionMailer for SMTP delivery of emails, and have
configured "config/environment.rb" accordingly, including the address of
our (external, but fully operational - checked and double-checked :-)
SMTP server.
Sending out emails from my Windows development laptop works without a
hitch, but on a Linux staging server using the exact same source

ActionMailer stopped working after upgrade to Rails 1.1
Hello,
I am using implicit e-mail templates to send HTML messages. I had no
problems till I have upgraded to Rails 1.1. Now the deliver_xxx method
just fails without *any* error message. No error or whatsoever (both
in development and production environments) exist in logs. Stranger
than that, a blank page is being displayed (according to logs, 0
length response, with 200 OK code). I googled for

ActionMailer works for gmail/yahoo, but not for other email addresses...HELP!
I have a rails app that can send emails to gmail, yahoo accounts. But
when it comes to more obscure accounts like email-VB3JyQctZj/QT0dZR+AlfA@public.gmane.org or
email-yvl6RSr0Ftk@public.gmane.org, the mail never arrives even though the log shows that
the email was sent. Any ideas why this may be happening?
I have sent an email directly through the same web server through the

ActionMailer::Base.default_url_options
Hi,
I want so set a default url for ActionMailer. I know,
ActionMailer::Base.default_url_options is deprecated, so I use
config.action_mailer.default_url_options = {
:host => "localhost"
}
in my environments (test.rb, production.rb, ...). The problem is, I get a
deprecation error and rails won''t start. I have no solution...
Any hints for me?

Line breaks removed from ActionMailer template
I''ve been googling and searching this list for about an hour now, and
maybe I''m just not thinking of the common nomenclature for what to be
looking for, but I can''t find jack.
Here''s the deal: I''ve got an application coded correctly, sending the
mail out, and the template is structured correctly (method_name.erb is
the filename) with LF line breaks
