factor score from PCA
Hi everyone, I am trying to get the factor score for each individual case from a principal component analysis, as I understand, both princomp() and prcomp() can not produce this factor score, the principal() in psych package has this option: scores=T, but after running the code, I could not figure out how to show the factor score results. Here is my code, could anyone give me some advice please?

errors in integrate function?

sem: incorrect parameter estimates
Hello. I am getting results from sem that are not correct (that's assuming that the results from my AMOS 4.0 software are correct). sem does not vary some of the parameters substantially from their starting values, and the final estimates of those parameters as well as the model chisquare value are incorrect. Hi, I agree that the more general shufflevector is more useful. I narrowed the original proposal a little bit because of the concern for the implementation cost. However, the slightly narrowed definition will probably require falling backing to generate insert and extracts for complex masks so it is possible that there will be no extra cost in supporting the more general definition.

Reference Classes: Generalizing Reference Class Generator objects?
Is it possible to override the $new(...) in the reference class generator? I have tried adding a "new" method to the methods of the class, but that is obviously not correct. [IDF][analyzer] Generalizing IDFCalculator to be used for Clang's CFG
Hi! As the title suggests, I'd like to generalize llvm::IDFCalculator to be able to calculate control dependencies on clang's CFG. The issue is however, that many data structures it uses are "hardcoded" to use llvm::BasicBlock, and requires a lot of code to turn it into template arguments. I managed to pull this off by hammering the code until it compiled, and it works

Communicating from one function to another
My question is a seemingly simple one. I have a bunch of user-defined functions which compute such-and-such objects. I want to be able to define a variable in a particular function, then make use of it later, perhaps in a different function, without necessarily having to move it around in argument lists. Propagation of debug information for variable into basic blocks.
