LDAP direct authentication Problem
Hi
I need to authenticate all the asterisk users from the LDAP server instead
of from sip.conf.
If anybody already have done this then please guide.
I tried to integrate authenticate asterisk users from LDAP using the open
source project astirectory1.2.0.
After using the astirectory1.2.0 , now when the asterisk starts then it
registeres with the LDAP. Following logs shows it.

[LLVMdev] Bug? Coalescing & Updating Subreg Intervals
I have a question about what is going on at line 754 of
SimpleRegisterCoalescing.cpp. The comment says we are
updating the live intervals for subregisters. This happens when
we coalesce to a physical register.
Now, I read that as, "merge in the range information from the
eliminated live interval to the subregister live interval," but that
appears to not be what happens.
In my case,

Hi all,
Am I the only one to have had a totally trouble-free upgrade to 5.2?? I get the
feeling that most everybody seems to have *some* problems...

auth_policy_server vs client_id and x-originating-ip
I run into troubles when trying to set up auth_policy_server in Dovecot
2.3.10.1. It works almost as expected but I cannot get client ID in this
process.
By setting up "imap_id_log=*" I see in log that Dovecot gets details
about mail client like name and version:

Starting the gotour server on CentOS 6
Hey CentOS folks!
I have an interesting issue with starting a server on a CentOS 6 KVM guest.
The server (service) in particular is gotour, which is a web application
created by Google and their Golang developers, intended to teach users the
basics of using the Go programming langauge.
When starting gotour, the program claims to be binding to port 12049, but
the VM doesn't seem to be serving

Indexing Mail faster
Hi,
I am trying to get faster search results on our webmail client(Roundcube).
Besides using Lucene for FTS are there other options?
Would having all mails indexed give fast results?
Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how
much faster are we looking at?
Really appreciate if someone could advise about this.
Thanks

Name length of function argument? (PR#10357)
Hi,
I've just been programming a function to calculate the likelihood in a
probit model.
The function looks like this
likelihood <- function(Y,X,p) {
Z <- p[1] +p[2]*X
P <- Y*pnorm(Z) + (1-Y)*(1-pnorm(Z))
-prod(P)
}
out <- optim(likelihood,p=c(0,0),Y=wells$switch,X=wells$dist, hessian=TRUE)
X and Y are vectors containing column data.
This works fine, however, if I rename p to

how to convert list of matrix (raster:extract o/p) to data table with additional colums (polygon Id, class)
Hi List,
I have a raster and a polygon with attribute ID and Class.
I want to have the fraction of each class present in each pixel of raster. I
have use the raster::extract to get the value and weights as below.
ex<-extract(raster,polygon,weighted=TRUE)
this gives me

Slow pkginstalls due to long door_calls to nscd
Hi all,
I am installing a zone onto two different V445s running S10U4 and the
zones are taking hours to install (about 1000 packages), that is, the
problem is identical on both systems. A bit of trussing and dtracing has
shown that the pkginstalls being run by the zoneadm install are making
door_call calls to nscd that are taking very long, so far observed to be
5 to 40 seconds, but always in
