Accessing login name from login_generator
I''m new to Rails and am modifying the ToDo tutorial app into something
else. I have successfully installed authentication via login_generator
and now I working toward restricting access to certain database records
based on the login name. I realize that eventually, I''ll want to use
the "id" field, but for now, I just want to use the user name itself.

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] CMake add_version_info_from_vcs SVN_REPOSITORY
This will be used by Clang to show full build information when
LLVM_APPEND_VC_REV is enabled and LLVM/Clang are built from Git.
Also try to figure-out repository URL and revision from Git mirror parsing
git-svn-id: footer from last commit (if present).

Cmake-gen'd parallel make breaks on native tablegen
It should probably be inside an `if(LLVM_USE_HOST_TOOLS)` block.
That way the extra target and command won’t get added unless needed and CMake won’t spew dev warnings. Adding a target with a nonexistent dependency makes CMake dump a bunch of developer warnings.
Other than that this looks good. Does it resolve the issue for you?

Setup Help - Apache/FastCGI/subdirectory
OK, I am stumbling forward bit by bit, learning as I go. The details:
- Running under Apache on Mac OS X Server (10.3.5)
- Obtained and installed FastCGI via instructions at rubyonrails.com
(installation appears to be OK)
- My app is called Voters and it lives in /Voters/
Where I am stuck is that I have found several sets of instructions for
setting up a Rails app as I intend, using some

Cmake-gen'd parallel make breaks on native tablegen
Hello backend devs,
Been working on a parallelization bug in the cmake configs, where parallel makefile builds of llvm with clang and native tablegen would usually break during linking in either either the clang_tblgen or llvm_tblgen targets. Looking at the cmake command that generates the tablegen makefile commands (I think) (cmake/modules/TableGen.cmake:113-117):

Unicorn doesn't play nice with Capistrano deployment?
I am having issues when using unicorn with a Capistrano deployment.
>From what I have been able to understand Capistrano uses a scheme in
wich every release is deployed inside the releases directory under a
unique name and if the transaction was successful, creates a symlink
named current that will point to that release.
So I end up with a deployment directory such as:

unicorn 0.94.0 - small fixes and new features
Unicorn is a HTTP server for Rack applications designed to only serve
fast clients on low-latency, high-bandwidth connections and take
advantage of features in Unix/Unix-like kernels. Slow clients should
only be served by placing a reverse proxy capable of fully buffering
both the the request and response in between Unicorn and slow clients.

Also, related feedback - I got no "permission to post this list is only for list members" notification from Mailman in response to my first post to this list so I did not know the mail was discarded. Would be very nice to attend to that setting in Mailman so folks know that their post never made it through vs. assuming folks are busy and will get back to you shortly.

Password environment variable - logging the password
Hi,
We?re migrating to a Cpanel hosting system.
Our passwords are currently stored in MD5.
I looked at the post login scripting to be able to start storing the plain
text passwords as people login temporarily so we can automate our migration.
It seems that the password is not available in the post login environment
variables.
Is there any way we can get access to the plain text password upon

I am trying to compile Samba 2.2.4 on an HP-UX 10.20 machine, and I get this

I looked on the web for possible causes, I didn't see anything that answered
my question. This box that I'm compiling on is currently running 1.9.16,

overzealous Windows security
Hi,
I've got a MSAccess database on a linux server (fedora core 5, samba 3,
192.168.0.90)
which a Win XP client machine needs to use (192.168.0.50).
However, Access refuses to open the database because "it's not on the
LAN so is a
security risk".
How can I configure Samba so that Windows recognises 192.168.0.90 as a
local
machine, please?

Off Topic - Virus
Hello,
I know this is off topic, but I've come to the conclusion that the only
people who can answer my question is other Samba users...
I would like to deploy on our network a centrally administered antivirus
program. We're running Win98 machines doing NT type logins to Samba running
on a RedHat 6.1 box.
It seems that as I have researched antivirus programs which can be centrally
