Dear R commnuity, Thanks a lot for your help. I want to read in tables, the problem is that the table is composed in a difficult way. In ariginal it looks like this: 669 736 842101610481029114711811166124312081128117611221026 9581024 992 685 720 829 925 995 96010241057116611501104106410711092 983 908 989 904 924 896 882 897 909 933 928 907 916 902 546 734 784 868 970 954

read.table but more tables at once
Dear all, I have a lot of data files (.txt) that I want to read in all at once, if possible. the files have names in time system. for example: RA940101, RA940102, RA940103, RA940104 an so on. (meaning: RA, year:91, month: here january, day of the month.) I tried something like vektor <- c("RA940101","RA940102","RA940103") for (x in 1:3) { data <-

Hello, I need a command. I have a lot of data in different dataframes(auto.0a, auto.0b, auto.0c, auto.5Na,...), that has similar names. I could print the names all at once wih a loop with the command paste(), see below:

contour plots
Hello, I want to make a contour plot. I have a matrix (nrow=4,ncol=58) . and two lists, one with 4 values (the depths) and one with 58 values (time in days)( Depth (should be later on the y-axis),and Time(should be later on the x-axis)) In the matrix there is the temperature for a specified depth and time. there are missing values (NAs). I also put ranges for x-,y-,zlim. I

specifying colours in a ggplot2 piechart
Someone was asking how to do a 16 category piechart in OpenOffice Calc and it appears that it can not be done (which we, probably, should be happy about) but I thought that I'd try it in ggplot2. It works but I then thought I'd like to make the colours more distinctive but fro some reason I don't seem to be able to use manually assigned colours. Can anyone suggest where I'm

Is it possible to automatically display the underlying values of a piechart/barplot in the graphic? If so, which package/function/argument do I need for it? Thanks, Volker

piechart default colour (PR#1248)
As of 1.4.0, the default colour of pieslices is black. Try piechart(1:3) for instance. The workaround is to use an explicit col="white" argument. (Of course, everything in example(piechart) uses fancy colour schemes, so nobody noticed that the default got changed.) -- O__ ---- Peter Dalgaard Blegdamsvej 3 c/ /'_ --- Dept. of Biostatistics 2200 Cph. [PATCH 0/1] Network UEFI PXE DHCP/proxyDHCP fix
from: Jeff Sloan <jeff_sloan at selinc.com> Update UEFI PXE proxyDHCP handling. This patch is based on commit ID 8a00e49 Modify two files to specify valid ip addresses. These files are efi/pxe.c and efi/udp.c. In efi/pxe.c: In net_parse_dhcp function. If ProxyOffer has been received, start with DhcpAck packet since it is the most complete. This requires a minimum of changes to the

[PATCH 2/5] ntfs: remove unused variable and have ntfssect use char API calls
The variable 'ok' is never used and generates a warning. Remove it. Also ntfssect.c is designed to be compiled in non Unicode mode when using MSVC compilers, so remove all ambiguity about it (LPCTSTR -> LPCSTR, use of 'A' API calls) so that it doesn't break when compiled in Unicode mode, which is what Rufus uses with MSVC. -------------- next part --------------

syslinux.efi pxeboot across multiple subnets
I did change both instances of txdata->GatewayAddress, but I think something may be wrong in my toolchain. If I extract syslinux.zip and attempt to make from there (without modifying any files), the cached DHCP packet isn't read on the same subnet. I receive "Succeed to download NBP file." twice before anything from syslinux is loaded, so I believe the duplicate request for

R-beta: save.plot and piecharts
Hi all, I am not sure if someone else noticed this as well, but the combination of piechart plots and save.plot does not work correctly. The labels and tickmarks are plotted OK, but the piechart itself is placed somewhere else in the figure (when using colors) or not visible at all (if not filled). The combination with postscript("...") works, though. Two small thingies concerning pie

Domain name search path use during PXE booting
Currently it appears that when PXE booting the domain search option is ignored and only the domain name option used for name resolution. The following patch adds support for domain search path usage when PXE booting: - adds parsing of the DHCP domain search option (119) - When resolving names via dns_resolv uses the search path if there's no dot in the name. - Reverts to the

[PATCH] efi: reuse UDP port with sendto
Without an assigned source port, Transmit function assign a random new source port to the packet being sent. It thus have to be set before calling Transmit if the source port have already been decided. Conversly, we have to save the assigned port to reuse it later if needed. Resolve bug #35.
