FW: Your message to Icecast awaits moderator approval
Hello there, You sent me the below email a couple of days ago and, as I haven't yet received any moderator notice that my post was rejected ... I assume it actually *has* been posted. I would therefore like to see my post - and see if it has attracted any responses. But I need you to tell me how to see my post on the xiph site (as I cannot find any instructions how to get to it). Thank

You posted this message to the list, I'm not a mod and I can read it. For March, I do not see any other post made by you. It clearly says WHY your post was rejected: "Message body is too big: 59787 bytes with a limit of 40 KB" I suspect this was an automated action. Re-write your original post so that it isn't too large (likely caused by attachments), and re-send it. On

So I assumed it had been posted ? and wanted to read the thread. My problem is ? I cannot see how to read Icecast threads. Any advice? Rgds, Andrew From: Icecast <icecast-bounces at

Thank you, D.T. Now, you wrote below: ?Since you are reading this post, means you are receiving the list messages, so all is good?. Do you mean by this ? that interacting with the Icecast user group is simply by sending & receiving email messages ? ie. to specific people (like your good self)? IE. there is no ?Forum?, as such, where I can view different topics and follow the various

A gmane mystery
I've been collecting redhat.fedora from gmane for several years, but about a week ago I found that while I could read gmane newsgroups I was unable to post to them - that is, my posts did not appear. I was able to post to gmane.test, and could read these posts. So I assume there is no problem with my From: or other headers. I take it that the gmane.linux.centos.general is in fact

Hi, It is not important how long I have been moderator for this mailinglist. Thing is that I'm thinking about stepping back. How would like to help the Syslinux project by moderating this ML? Yes, but we all get to read them as they go to everyone :) It is a bit old fashioned. And it?s probably run on a Linux server that hasn?t even been rebooted for a decade. I myself am waiting for a response to my email, which I?m not sure if it has ever gone out. I had a look for a decent Icecast forum but only found one that wasn?t running anymore. I don?t really understand it - streaming has

assign vectors to objects
Hi everyone, I try to add many vectors (L1,L2,L3....) to multiple list objects (a.list, b.list....) in a workspace. Somethings like below, but it is not working. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Best, John lf=ls(pattern=".lst")  for (x in listfiles) {     dat=read.delim(x,header=F)     for (i in lf) {     assign(i$add,as.numeric(dat[,3]))   #or i$add=as.numeric(dat[,3]

pasting results into Word/Excel
Is there some clever way of pasting results from R into Excel or Word, as tab limited format so they are easy to turn into a formatted table. Or is there some other way of doing this to avoid the time spent reformatting the output for presentation. If different, I am also interested in an answer to the same question but using S-Plus. Many thanks, Graham

Submitting patches for LLVM -- llvm-commits vs. Phabricator?
Hi, I've recently submitted a patch to llvm-commits (as requested by https://llvm.org/docs/DeveloperPolicy.html#making-and-submitting-a-patch) and the mailing list answered with a notice that my message is held for moderator approval (with the reason: "Post by non-member to a members-only list"). I'm therefore wondering if I should've submitted my patch via Phabricator
