Save image as metafile
Hi, how can I save an image as a metafile? I know within windows you can do a right click and then 'save image as metafile' but I use Mac OS X...I know as well that mac users have a right click as well, but it does not work. Is there a command in R for saving images as metafiles? Regards, mentor -- View this message in context:

ON MAC, how to copy a plot on to Word document?
Yes, I don't know how to copy the plot on Mac and paste on to Word because you can't right click on the graph and say "copy as metafile." I'm so surprised I can't find any information about this anywhere on the Internet... -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/ON-MAC%2C-how-to-copy-a-plot-on-to-Word-document--tp19354558p19354558.html Sent from the R

Printing out a graph using different graphics devices
Hello, everyone! The code below allows me to produce the graph I want (I know - the colors are strange, but it's just for the sake of an example). After you run the plot<- part and then do print(plot) - that's what I want. However, when I run the bits of code below (with graphics devices) - what they print is different from the original plot. In .png, .emf, and .tiff - my dots change

graphics - line resolution/pixelation going from R to windows metafile
I have a recurring graphics issue that I've not been able to resolve with R. If I make a series of regression estimates and then plot the estimated function for the regression lines over a scatter plot of the data, e.g., using a sequence of plot( ) and lines ( ) similar to those below

PowerPoint
Dear All, I am looking for the best way to use graphs from R (like xyplot, curve ...) for a presentation with powerpoint. I used to save my plot as pdf and after to copy them as image in powerpoint but the quality is not optimal by so doing. Another completely independent question is the following: when I use "main" in the xyplot, the main title is very close to my plot,

Hello all. A Journal we are sending an article to is asking for the following: To ensure the best reproduction quality of your figures we would appreciate high resolution files. Including graphics files in MS office / open office
Hi all, I'm trying to write up some recommendations for what graphics formats are most useful for inclusion into ms office and openoffice. There have been a few discussions on the list in the past, but I haven't seen a summary. These are the options I've seen so far, along with there costs and benefits: * high-resolution (600-dpi) png output (or tiff or jpg or other raster

R Issues with packages
You just need to READ the error messages and use Google. Don't try to install tcltk. The other two packages are not available through CRAN... they are Bioconductor packages. (Not supported here... use Google.) And learn to post plain text in the future to avoid scrambling what you thought you sent before we see it. Read the Posting Guide. -- Sent from my phone. Exporting Numerous Graphs
Hi all, I have got 27 graphs to export (not a lot...I know!). How can I fit all of them into a single file like PNG without adjusting the size of the graphs? What's in my mind is like pasting graphs into Word, in which I can just scroll down to view the graphs. Thanks for your attention. Much appreciated. Chris -- View this message in context:

How to extract se(coef) from cph?
Hello, I am modeling some survival data wih cph (Design). I have modeled a predictor which showed non linear effect with restricted cubic splines. I would like to retrieve the se(coef) for other, linear, predictors. This is just to make nice LateX tables automatically. I have the coefficients with coef(). How do I do that? Thanks, David Biau. savePlot with % in character string
This occurred after I installed R x64 2.13.1 on Windows: savePlot("95%.winners.wmf") saves the file as: "951nners.wmf" Is this the correct behavior, or have I bungled something? ggarrange & legend
I'm sorry but that is not a working example. A working example needs to create the plots being used. For example, stealing some code from https://rpkgs.datanovia.com/ggpubr/reference/ggarrange.html #================================================================= data <https://rdrr.io/r/utils/data.html>("ToothGrowth")df <- ToothGrowthdf$dose <- as.factor
