How to pass puppet/hiera veriable to external script ? Do I need to ?
Hi, I have a problem with running puppet with hiera based data. I am trying to cleanup user accounts on a range of servers (to have the same uid/gid). When I create existing account but with different uid/gid it doesn''t change files group ownership so I need to run a script which cleanups after cleanup ;-) I use the following code: --- :backends: - yaml :hierarchy: -

How to setup /etc/resolv.conf dependent on network
Hello, I am a beginner in puppet so please excuse my lack of knowledge. (I use puppet 3.1). We have nodes in different networks - they use different DNS servers. I''d like to set up its /etc/resolv.conf dependent on network they are in. What approach would you recommend to solve the problem ? Thanks in advance Przemek -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the

lmpt director and ldap userdb
Hello, I've been using dovecot for a long time, but now I'm having troubles with I change I need to make. I have a director server in front of two backend servers. All of these servers are running dovecot 2.1.16. Redirection to backend servers are based in an attribute of a ldap server. My users are defined in this same ldap server. At this moment, for user authentication we use

Eager loading and :order produces ambiguous column error
I''m sure I saw a post about this topic a while ago, but I haven''t been able to find it again. I have this association: has_many :sections, :class_name => "QuestionnaireSection", :order => "position", :dependent => :destroy, :include => :questions but since the Question object has a position column, the query comes back with Mysql::Error:

data() documentation ambiguous about loaded versus attached packages?
Under ?data package: a character vector giving the package(s) to look in for data sets, or 'NULL'. By default, all packages in the search path are used, then the 'data' subdirectory (if present) of the current working directory. which I think is accurate -- packages have to be attached for their data to be found; being loaded (as

[LLVMdev] Seemingly ambiguous parameter lists
Dear Chris, I had a second question which is probably a dumb question, but here goes. I'm just wondering how a function that has all varargs knows what to do. I'm only familiar with the C style of varargs. In that case you generally used one or more fixed parameters that told you how to interpret the rest. Like the format string in printf, for example. I suppose the function

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] fix "ambiguous call to overloaded function" with Visual Studio 2010
The attached patch gets rid of the "error C2668" mentioned on the wiki page (all the other errors seem to be fixed in SVN already AFAICT): http://wiki.llvm.org/How_do_I_compile_on_Visual_C%2B%2B%3F Applying this to trunk fixes http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=5592 for me. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... [PATCH 2/2] v2v: Fix ambiguous and probably incorrect pattern match (warning 57).
See: http://caml.inria.fr/pub/docs/manual-ocaml/comp.html#ss%3Awarn57 I believe the code as written previously was incorrect. However we are lucky because if neither clause matches then it will fall through to displaying an error message, allowing the user to correct the problem. --- v2v/output_vdsm.ml | 3 +++ 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+) diff --git a/v2v/output_vdsm.ml

Ambiguous ..... problem using Dovecot v1.0.alpha4 on OpenBSD 3.8
I verified that "default_mail_env" on my dovecot configuration file are "maildir:" correctly prefixed and ... permissions of /var/mail/mydomain and /var/mail/mydomain/myuser are 2755 and owner is root:mail. Dovecot user is member of mail group. I'm sure that isn't an authentication problem. I've tried some days to understand and to find over internet but I've

ambiguous example in as.Date() documentation (PR#10990)
<<insert bug report here>> The note in the as.Date() documentation is ambiguous (is it referring to February 3rd, 2001, or March 2nd, 2001?) While it is certainly true that one could peruse the ISO 8601 standard to determine which ordering is correct, changing the example day to one where the day value is >12 would resolve the ambiguity. "Ambiguous" variation of default environment in `getClasses()` (standard function vs. formal S4 method)
Dear list, This probably makes perfect sense from the language designers' perspective, but at least for me this was/is quite an interesting and unexpected behavior which I thought might be worth sharing: The default value of argument |where|in function |getClasses()|seems to vary depending on whether |getClasses()|is called inside a *standard R function*or a *formal S4 method*. It is

This doesnt work, but is kind of the idea: Comment.find :all, :conditions => {''users.name'' =>
