Plot in cartesian plane
Hi all,
I'm trying to plot this two curves in a single cartesian plane, but when I
plot the first one, the plot appears with no negative "y" value. When I plot
the second curve, it almost does not apear in the graph.
I was trying the plot.window but with no success.
Can someone help me with this?
If possible, I'd like to plot this curves in a perfect cartesian plane.

Pattern recognition
Dear all,
I'm trying to use some technic to do a pattern recognition over a large
dataset. I really don't have any idea on how to do that using R.
Here is a sample of the data:

The condition has length > 1 and only the first element will be used
Hi All,
I'm trying to run the following script in R, but I'm getting a warning saying:
Warning message:
In if (z < 0) { :
the condition has length > 1 and only the first element will be used
As you can see, I'm sending a vector x to the function f without any
problem. The function f calculates the y value for each x.
But the function f needs to convert the x to positive

Multiline and grouping in R
Hi All,
this is my first mail here.
I'm trying to plot a multiline chart grouping values with no success. I have
read a lot in the official Wiki and also searched via Google, but I did not
find anything.
I'm importing some data from a cvs file. Here is a sample:

1988,INTERNATIONAL,189
1988,FAMILY,385

Help with maps
A few questions about maps...
(1) How can I find a listing of the internal data sets that map() from the maps library contains?
For example, "usa", "county", "state", "nz" all work. Are there any others?
(2) Is there an easier, more generalized way to produce this (http://www.ai.rug.nl/~hedderik/R/US2004/ ) type of plot than this

US 2004 Elections map
even for people who didn't like the outcome of the US elections this
year, it must have been a joy to see all the nice (and not so nice)
graphs that were shown. As an exercise, I recreated the map shown on
the NY-Times website [

Line plot help
I was wondering if is there any way of plotting line segments on a plot.
Actually I need a graph that shows the advantage of using a different method
for estimate the parameter of my databse, so I've plotted the N estimatives
for M areas in my database and then I've plotted the new estimation (N'
estimatives) and I need a line to link those paired points (N'(1)-N(1),

According to the HCL, for the Manager III, you might want to try the blazer_ser (or in 2.7.1, nutdrv_qx):

Options in Brazil
All-
I am considering an Asterisk implementation in Brazil. Unfortunately,
this presents something of a challenge to plan sitting in Chicago,
USA. I know there is a large section of Brazillian Asterisk users who
actively read this list- so I'd love to pump out a few questions-
note, I'm not necessarily a newbie, having successfully implemented a
few Asterisk boxes here in the US.
