correcting a few data in a large data frame
The data frame is lwf that records the survival of bushes over an 8 year
period. Years are called bouts. Dead bushes are recorded as zeros, and live
bushes as "1."

[PATCH 1/1] OCFS2: anti stale inode for nfs (V5)
changes from v4:
1, let suballoc lock covers the checking of the group.
2, add/correct some log messages.
3, use ocfs2_read_group_descriptor() instead of diry reading the group.

Proper Syntax for Logical Subset in Subset()
I have measured values for 47 chemicals in a stream. After processing
the original data frame through reshape2, the recast data frame has this

ADM 0.5 - Asterisk Desktop Manager (alpha)
Hi all,
I've just released an ALPHA version of an application I have been
working on to help integrate the desktop with asterisk. A list of the
key features are as follows:
* Automatic on-call volume reduction
* One click dial from clipboard
* Automatic on-call messenger away
* Automatic/manual DND phone setting (Cisco 79xx only)
* One click call forward setup (Cisco 79xx

Correcting for covariate (unbalanced design)
Hi,
I've got a microarray dataset (Illumina) coming from a blood assay with
a case-control factor of interest.
I also have several other covariates (gender, weight, etc...).
I know that the experimental design is highly unbalanced with respect to
Gender:
female male
control 12 7
case 7 17
Therefore, if there is a Gender effect, then it really

error correcting a signal
Hello,
I know, this list is for R, not for mathematics,
but because of this problem in question, which may
be interesting for others too, I ask it here.
I want to correct a signal (timeseries).
There is a jump up, and later a jump down.
This error signal (must be an error, because
the normal data should not contain such a jump)
seems to be overlayed additive, but maybe also can have

Correcting for overdispersion
Hello,
I am trying to determine LD50 and LD95 using dose.p in MASS however some of the Residual variance is larger than the degrees of freedom. Please can anyone help with any advice as to how i can correct for this?
Here is the model as inputted into R
y<-cbind(dead,n-dead)
model<-glm(y~log(conc),binomial)
summary(model)
xv<-seq(min(log(conc)-1),max(log(conc)+1),0.01)

Error-correcting output code with multiclass problems
Hello,
I just wanted to know if there's any package that implements
error-correcting output code algorithms for multiclass ensemble
problems.
thank you in advance.

Correcting wine so as to get an app working
I've read the Wine documentation but it doesn't help much in finding out
when a developer will look at a bug in Wine preventing an app working. I
want to get Basic4android working properly: it installs OK but it it has
a critical runtime problem. The bug is now marked as Confirmed and I've
put a comment on the app's WineHQ webpage asking when a developer will
look at the bug but

Errors [on all DCs] related to incorrect userParameters values - on

this value?

Correcting the display of colnames and rownames
Dear all,
I have a data frame of dimension 720 columns by 360 rows, to which I am trying to add numerical row and column labels to, using the 'sequence' command. The original data, which I read in using 'read.table', had no such labels at all.
I've got as far as successfully using the sequence command and getting the labels to display. However, I'm finding that for the

lattice and dates (correcting e-mail formatting glitch - sorry!!)
Hi
I'm fairly new to R and the list, so please take
what I say accordingly!
Far as I can see, strptime gives you a string in some
specified format. In order to do any kind of
numerically-based modelling with that, you need to
obtain a number to work with. One way to do this is by
getting the time with Sys.time() instead and coercing
it to a number using as.integer():

Correcting Bent Records: Mongrel is not SCGI
Hi,
I kept getting a very weird question about Mongrel
(http://mongrel.rubyforge.org) and SCGI that I think really needs to be
cleared up:
** Mongrel is not SCGI and will never need, use, require, or interact with
SCGI (unless someone wants to write the handler for it). **
For some reason people have been under the impression that Mongrel actually
uses or interacts with my other project SCGI

[PATCH] I attach two patches correcting documentation and I have a few questions
I post this to the mailing list, but perhaps is not the good place.
I'm not subscribed, so I don't know if I'm going to get any reply, but
please, tell me where to send patches.
I attach two patches that correctly describes the new support for F11
and F12 in documentation but I have two more question to update
documentation accordingly.

correcting for autocorrelation in models with panel data?
Hi
I have some panel data for the 50 US states over about 25 years, and I
would like to test a simple model via OLS, using this data. I know how
to run OLS in R, and I think I can see how to create Panel Corrected
Standard Errors using
http://jackman.stanford.edu/classes/350C/pcse.r
What I can't figure out is how to correct for autocorrelation over
time. I have found a lot of R stuff on

Correcting for missing data combinations
I can think of many brute-force ways to do this outside of R, but was
wondering if there was a simple/elegant solution within R instead.
I have a table that looks something like the following:
Factor1 Factor2 Value
A 11/11/2009 5
A 11/12/2009 4
B 11/11/2009 7
B 11/13/2009 8

force a 0 for any combination that doesn?t

Correcting Mail Home, Maildir and Sieve folder locations
I have Dovecot 2.3.7.2 on Ubuntu 20.04.
I just migrated the server from CentOS 8, and only migrated to the CentOS 8 machine a few months ago off of CentOS 7.
I am pasting `doveconf -n` at the bottom of this email.
Everything is working.
However, I'm trying to clean up warnings in the logs, and just discovered that I'm not managing home directories properly.

Transferring a call with IAX
Here's an interesting question:
If I transfer a call from Asterisk system to another with IAX, is there any way I can get control back on the original system? Or.. do I lose control, and the dialplan has to continue on the new system?
Scenario is we transfer calls to an Asterisk system that handles ACD queues. If the ACD queue times out, we want to send the caller to voicemail on another
