JRI and error message from R_isMethodsDispatchOn
Dear R users, I have a small project written in Java and need some statical tools. Therefore, I used JRI (in rJava package) as an interface between R and Java to write some wrappers for my work. However, I received error message from R while I have more than one java method which wraps R: Error in .Call("R_isMethodsDispatchOn", onOff, PACKAGE = "base") : Incorrect

R embedded reinitialization error (PR#12644)
Full_Name: R Embedder Version: 2.7.2 OS: win XP SP 2 Submission from: (NULL) (83.25.35.249) I'm having problems using embedded R. I try to adapt examples from "tests/Embedding/". Everything works fine except when I try to reinitialize R for the second time in the same program. I need to reinitialize correctly because my code is some kind of .dll plugin to an external application.

R without dynamic libraries: anyone working on this?
Hi all, I'm building R for a context where I can't load dynamic libraries. I've configured the build appropriately but from what I can tell it's not currently supported: there are compile errors here and there and the mechanism for looking up base symbols (CFunTab in Rdynload.c??) seems to have been ripped out. I'm going to add enough code so that R_FindSymbol will at least

Today I found the time to debug Xgl and to find the bug. My mouse was configured as evdev device in xorg.conf, and to use it, it was set as the

Samba have wait-times
Hallo. Our Samba Server is used to provide a DOS program that uses the DOS database btrieve. Sometimes the opening and using of these programs is very slow. There seem to come no data from the server. The programm has very much files in one directory (ca. 50.000). Is this a problem? the opening of a program "sleeps" sometimes for 1 Minute. If we put the windows into the background and

SSL testing on localhost - segfaults aplenty !
Hello, I''ve followed the tutorial @ http://weeatbricks.com/2007/10/31/how-to-use-a-rails-app-with-https/ to setup SSL on localhost, wanting to use https for logging in and such. Using the method described above I get sensibly higher load times and of course very very frequent and random segfaults (be it ActiveRecord, Mongrel or any other .rb causing it) !! Platform is..well Win32.
