Colorbar too wide in eps
Hi! When I plot my filled.contour plot > filled.contour(dat,color=rainbow,plot.axes=matrix.axes(dat),xlab=myxlab,ylab=myylab) everything looks fine on the screen. But if I wrap these two lines >postscript(file="myplot.eps",paper="special",width=4,height=4,family='Times',horizontal=FALSE) ... >dev.off() around the line above in order to create an eps file, the

[LLVMdev] how to use the shadow-stack?
Hi, I'm trying to start using gc with llvm, and was trying to get started with the shadow-stack plugin. I'm having trouble putting everything together, even in this simple case. My compiler generates the necessary gcroot instructions and for now I would be glad just being able to walk through the roots and print out some numbers. For example, I have the following my.ll file: my.ll:

Does sprof work on CentOS5?
No matter how I try, I can't seem to get a library profile from sprof on CentOS5. Does anyone know if sprof actually works on CentOS5? I'd be very interested to hear if anyone is using it successfully. At the moment I'm trying something like this to get the dump: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. LD_PROFILE=libmy.so ./mymain where libmy.so is the library I want to profile, and mymain is the

sample codes for writting a function with unknown number of arguments
Hi, I need to scan some files, and then do a boxplot graph of them. I also save the output from the boxplot function, so I can process the data later. For example, I need to scan 2 (it can be x, 0<x) files here. A<-scan(F1)/100; B<-scan(F2)/100; Now let's try graph it. N1 is the label for F1, and so on. bitmap(file=Name, type="png16m")

(R) Using arguments for the empirical cumulative distribution function
Hi, I have just started using R. Now I have the following problem: I want to create an Empirical Cumulative Distribution Function and I only came so far: F10 <- ecdf(x) plot(F10, verticals= TRUE, do.p = TRUE, lwd=3) x=c(1.6,1.8,2.4,2.7,2.9,3.3,3.4,3.4,4,5.2) Now I'd like to use arguments such as xlabs and main but I don't know how to integrate them. I hope someone can help me, I am

Hello, I have an unbalanced mixed model design with two fixed effects "site" (2 levels) and "timeOfDay" (4 levels) and two random effects "day" (3 consecutive days) and "trap" (6 unique traps, 3 per site). The dependent variable is the body length ("BL") of insect larvae from 7 to 29 individuals per trap (104 individuals in total). To account

Vorbis still glitching on metadata update?
Greetings, I am trying to track down a bug with intermittant glitching in our Vorbis streams. I am running Icecast 2.3.2 on Ubuntu 9.04. Several Vorbis clients seem to glitch on some (not all) metadata updates. As we update metadata 3 to 4 times a minute, this is something we are trying to fix, VLC gives the following output on metadata update: main warning: the mixer got a packet in

Xen time drift issues
Hello everyone! I been observing some peculiar time drift on my Xen domains (dom0 and domUs). The time (as returned by timeofday) on my domains drifts at an almost steady rate from the real time ( as read from the time stamp counter ). The drift is so constant that it makes me think there should be some simple explanation for it in the way Xen keeps time. Some info about my set up: guest OS:

DRY Scaffolds
I''ve got 8 scaffolds, each one can be considered an ''item'', such as a blog, photo, etc. Using login_engine and user_engine, I list all blogs belonging to a user by saying: @user=session[:user] @blogs=@user.blogs.find(:all) but then let''s say I want to create an option where I want to slice it differently: @user=session[:user] if @someOption ==1

patched kernel addressing timekeeping issues under vmware
People at vmware have provided patches for RHEL 5 that aim to fix timekeeping issues in vmware guests. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=463573 Description of problem (excerpt) : "In a virtual environment, timekeeping for RHEL 64 bit kernels can be problematic, since time is kept by counting timer interrupts for this kernel. [PATCH] xenpm: make argument parsing and error handling more consistent
Specifically, what values are or aren''t accepted as CPU identifier, and how the values get interpreted should be consistent across sub-commands (intended behavior now: non-negative values are okay, and along with omitting the argument, specifying "all" will also be accepted). For error handling, error messages should get consistently issued to stderr, and the tool should now

I try to follow the instruction here: https://github.com/wch/extrafont I guess (but am not sure) the fonts are successfully installed. Problem encountered: 1. The following line sometimes yields an

VCPUOP_set_periodic_timer
Hi all, I need a periodic timer running at ideally at 125 microseconds and at least 500 microseconds. I''ve just found the VCPUOP_set_periodic_timer, however there is a comment saying "periods less than one millisecond may not be supported". I will be running on an x64 machine. Is this supported? If not, is there any alternate means of generating a fast interrupt? Regards.
