Viewing all Properties and Methods?
Hello,
How can I see all the properties (member variables) and methods (functions) that are available for an object? Is there a function similar to PHP''s var_dump in MySQL?
Many thanks for your assistance.

mediaplayer for icecast streams?
Thank you, Ben!
I was afraid it would be very complicated to get the information
extracted, but it was very simple. My only problem now is to find a way
to update the text on the webpage. I was hoping sleep(5) could do the
trick, but it does not work.
<?php
if (1) {
$jsonobj=file("http://radio.protestbandet.dk:8000/status-json.xsl");
//var_dump($jsonobj);

[PATCH] Start adding return values tests for bindings
Introduce a new kind of bindings tests, 090-retvalues, to check all the
possible return values in bindings; start implementing them for
scripting languages such as GObject introspection, Perl, PHP, Python,

radio_button method does not recognize int values?
So the api listing says that radio_button(object, method, tag_value,
options = {}) gives a radio button tag, and if object.method ==
tag_value, then the button will be checked.
I verified the method behaves correctly for attributes of type string.
However, if the attribute is of type int, it doesn''t make the button
checked.
Does anyone have some information before I file a bug?

fcgi to run cgi scripts
Dear experts,
I have rail site that is running lighttpd and fcgi. I want the default
domain to serve the rails application, and I also want to have a
virtualhost (bugs.mysite) to resolve to a bugzilla instance.
Bugzilla is basically Perl application called through CGI.
I tried to find pointers on how to set fcgi to run both rails dispatcher
and other cgi scripts in a different virtualhost, and

which ldap do you like
To All,
I am going to try my hand at setting up an ldap server. I have looked
at what is available and would like to ask your opinions as to what is a
good one to have.
openldap, centos-ds, and freeipa seem to be high on everyone's list.
Which one do you like, and does it have a good setup tutorial I could
use. So far the tutorials I have looked at seem out of sync with the

Coming from the perl world to ruby, I was wondering if there was
anything like data::dumper perl module for ruby/rails?
@thing.inspect or dump(@thing) works, but isn''t formatted all as

Dumper, mySQL adapter and TIMESTAMP ... something strange ?
Hi,
As explained by MiKael Navarro in the following post
(http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/55662#new) it seems that there''s a
problem with the way the mySQL adapter treats the TIMESTAMP column.
Actually, when an SQL schema with for example:
created_on TIMESTAMP
is dumped into ruby schema, it will lead to:
t.column "created_on", :timestamp, :limit => 14
but if we
