[LLVMdev] LLVM register number for MIPS DAGToDAG
Thanks for your reply Quentin. I do understand that the registers are
allocated much later in the pipeline.
I am assuming that the physical registers are allocated before
MipsAsmPrinter class.
I am doing something like
if (MI->getOpcode() == Mips::OPCODE) {
unsigned n = MI->getNumOperands();
for(unsigned i=0 ; i < n ; i++) {
const MachineOperand &MO =

[LLVMdev] LLVM Backend
I am working on LLVM backend and was wondering if there is any way by which
I can access the value stored SDValue so I can either assign it as a
literal or move it to register in an user defined instruction.
Something like:
SDValue Value = Op->getOperand(2);
intValue = Value.get_integer_value //get Value as an int
and then
if ( intValue > 31)
Thanks,
Ambuj

[LLVMdev] Clang flag to either print/omit nop instruction in llvm backend
I have created custom Clang flag -no_nop_optimise which can be passes with
clang on command line.
I am planning to implement someting like:
when -no_nop_optimise flag is passed on the command line do not emit a nop
instruction.
i.e. inside SelLowering class
if ( !OPT_no_nop_optimise)
{
BuildMI(*BB, MI, DL, TII->get(Mips::NOP));
}
Any clues on how can I pass the flag to the LLVM backend

[LLVMdev] LLVM register number for MIPS DAGToDAG
Is it possible to get a register number to which the value is allocated to
in MIPS in DAGToDAG class?
More Specifically:
SDValue Reg3 = Node->getOperand(3);
if (RegisterSDNode *R = dyn_cast<RegisterSDNode>(Reg3))
{
op3 = cast<RegisterSDNode>(Reg3)->getReg();

[LLVMdev] LLVM Backend DAGToDAGISel INTRINSIC
I am currently working on DAGToDAGISel class for MIPS and am trying to
figure out a way to use INTRINSIC_W_CHAIN for an intrinsic which can return
a value.
My intrinsic is defined as:
Intrinsic<[llvm_i32_ty],[llvm_i32_ty,llvm_i32_ty,llvm_i32_ty,llvm_i32_ty],[IntrReadWriteArgMem]>;
i.e. it has four arguments and one return value
In DAGToDAGISel when I try to pass it with four arguments and

Putting together a constantly evolving package
Hi all,
I'm putting together some common code + data into a custom package,
everything is working out fine, but the ``R CMD INSTALL MyPackage``
call seems to take a particularly long time in the "**data" step:
$ R CMD INSTALL MyPackage/
* installing to library ?/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Resources/
library?
* installing *source* package ? MyPackage? ...
** R

Symbolic eigenvalues and eigenvectors
Let's say I had a matrix like this:
library(Ryacas)
x<-Sym("x")
m<-matrix(c(cos (x), sin(x), -sin(x), cos(x)), ncol=2)
How can I use R to obtain the eigenvalues and eigenvectors?
Thanks,
John

Using C code in R
Hi,
I am new to R and I want to know how to use C code which contains two
functions one called inside another.I know that how to use C code in R if it
has only one function but dont know how to do it in above case. I want to
use the same in R .My C code is as follows.

void sayHello();
void g();
void sayhello() {

Save model and predictions from svm
Hello,
I'm using the e1071 package for training an SVM. It seems to be working
well.
This question has two parts:
1) Once I've trained an SVM model, I want to USE it within R at a later
date to predict various new data. I see the write.svm command, but
don't know how to LOAD the model back in so that I can use it tomorrow.
How can I do this?
2) I would like to add the

importing from excel, xml or text file. now i want to store that dataset

R
Hello, just a couple of short questions that would be much appreciated.
Is there a way of putting a vectors inputs in size order from low to high?
And if I had a random list or TRUE and FALSE, is there a way of finding the 100th TRUE?
Thank you very much,

history() does not work?
Hi,
> history()
gives Error in savehistory(file) : no history available to save
although I can scroll throu history with C^uparrow an C^downarrow.
How can I make history() work and/or show the current history in a file,
so that I can choose from previous commands?
The web did not throw up anything useful.

Parallel computing on Windows (foreach) (Sergey Goriatchev)
foreach (or virtually anything you might use for concurrent programming)
only really makes sense if the work the "clients" are doing is substantial
enough to overwhelm the communication overhead. And there are many ways to
accomplish the same task more or less efficiently (for example, doing blocks
of tasks in chunks rather than passing each one as an individual job).

value of nth percentile
Dear All,
I have to get the value of say 90th percentile of precipitation time series.. The series is of daily precipitation value of 96 years, I have to to get 90the percentile value of daily precipitation each year. If you know the R code or command for this please let me know.
I would appreciate your early response.
Thanking you,
Sincerely,
Ajay.
